There’s something about thinking outside the box. Honestly, strategic thinking is a thing.
Watch till the end 😮💨

Just like I said yesterday, Nigerians love freebies. “They asked us to pay ₦26k” for skills that people have spent ₦400k and above to acquire.
I did a certification in Advanced Python and it cost me £1,300, which is close to ₦2.5 million.
You’re talking about whether people will get jobs after acquiring these skills. How many Nigerian graduates get jobs after graduating from university?
Tech is about innovation. Even after acquiring the skills, you still need to be creative. The good thing is that you can do amazing things with these skills even without getting a job. You just have to think outside the box.
So Don Jazzy partnered with TS Academy to offer what is being presented as a scholarship to Nigerians, but the scholarship acceptance fee is around ₦26,000.
Lmao. Imagine 300 people paying ₦26,000 each. That is ₦7.8 million.
Only God knows when ordinary Nigerians will be free from the grip of rich people.
Dangote is promising us heaven and earth to make us rich by force. They are hawking IPO shares in the market now.
Another packaged tech course is here again.
Of course, it could be a paid promotion or partnership, whatever you want to call it. Several celebrities and big accounts on X have also promoted TS Academy.
But my question is simple: how many Nigerians who have taken these courses are now earning comfortably from the skills they acquired?
How many have secured jobs, landed clients or built sustainable businesses from the training?
Every day, it is tech, tech, tech. Everybody is selling one course or promoting one academy.
Nigerians are desperately looking for ways to escape poverty, and these businesses know it.

The TS Academy people are wise ooo.
The acceptance fees is ₦26,000, with Don Jazzy influence , I am 💯 sure that 10,000 people will pay the acceptance fees.
₦26,000 * 10,000 =₦260,000,000.00
Jesus 🙏.
₦260M ?.
How much will they pay Don Jazzy ? Maybe ₦50M and they’ll gain ₦210M.
Who’s the owner of TS Academy? I need to learn how to do business from him.

Your second question captured it well. I wanted to upscale and also get gigs and other opportunities for my brand and also as freelancers.
I needed to go to class and see things from the eyes of the professionals. No knowledge is lost. Have I gotten a job since graduation? No!
Did I regret going for the training? Never!
A lot has changed in my knowledge, confidence and also in helping me build my Media House Brand. And because of the training I was able to develop and draft out the rate card for my media house.
These are few things one get to learn and digest going for such trainings. Where your knowledge stop, na there professionals own start

Hi @DArsenalGirl ,
Your second question captured it well.
My goal was to upscale, get gigs and explore other opportunities for my brand and as a freelancer.
I needed to attend classes and learn from the perspectives of professionals. After all, no knowledge is lost.
Have I gotten a job since graduation? No!
Do I regret going for the training? Never!
A lot has changed in my knowledge, confidence and how I approach building my Media House brand.
Because of the training, I was also able to develop and draft a proper rate card for my Media House.
These are some of the things you get to learn and understand when you attend such trainings.
Where your knowledge stops, na there the professionals’ own starts.

So the end game wasn't to get a job? Or if you see a job using that skill you will not take it?
Or you mean you already have a job and wanted to upscale? What's your point?. Put that your but I put the knowledge to good use aside because whats the good that you used it for?

No, it was never a free training oh!
The first time I saw their poster on LinkedIn in early 2025, I ran! 🏃♂️
Where I wan see over ₦250k+ or more depending on the course to pay for a digital skills program, no matter how amazing the packaging was?
They’re not a Nigerian-based company. So, with advice from some Nigerian investors and mentors, they were encouraged to subsidize the cost and bring notable personalities on board.
That’s how the scholarship thing came about.
And the moment I saw that the program had been subsidized, I rushed am!
No regrets till date!

I am not undermining their training
My point is it was a free training before all the celebrities started promoting it and its now packaged as a scholarship
What i hate is the hidden fees they will not tell you about cos why is it left out in the promotion?

Someone asked me, “Since graduating from @TechSphereAcad, have you gotten a job?”
These are the issues!😂😂😂
So, you think I enrolled in a course to improve myself and develop my skills just because I wanted a job after graduation?
Again, this is where many people get it wrong. We go for things with the wrong mindset, and when the expected outcome doesn’t happen, we start saying we wasted our money or that the program was useless.
No, I haven’t gotten a job since graduation.
But I’ve put the knowledge I gained to good use. It has helped me improve myself, create opportunities, build connections and gain leverage in ways I probably wouldn’t have without the training.
Not every investment in yourself must immediately translate to a job or money before it becomes valuable.
Sometimes, the biggest reward is the knowledge, exposure, confidence and opportunities you gain along the way.
That’s the mindset. 🙌
you paying not paying other money after the acceptance fee. The teaching is always top-notch from professionals. I took the AI and Automation course recently.

After the N26,500, you pay nothing else again till the end of your course.
Every courses have their designated time table. When I did Graphic Design Program; our classes was every Tuesdays from 6pm to 9pm (online classes) and on Saturdays from 12pm to 3pm.
Group discussions classes hold Thursdays and Fridays from 6pm to 9pm respectively.
It was so demanding coupled with my 9-5…I almost pulled the plug. But thank God for their recorded classes and pre-record sessions based on each topics on everybody’s dashboards. Even after the training ends, you have 3months to revisit the dashboards to download all sessions, recorded videos and re-read all the notes and courses again till you are satisfied and after 3months, the dashboards will be deactivated.
For the laptops, a competition is organized amongst students across board and 2-3winners are selected from each course program across board and a brand laptop is awarded to the winners across board.
Lastly, best graduating students are either absorbed into the academy or referred to start ups and other top companies for jobs or gigs. But be rest assured that whenever there are job opportunities, it’s being displayed on the community group chats for anybody to engaged and apply.
That’s the access you enjoy applying and attending the academy. And the connections and engagement you get with meeting different people for different works of life is unbelievable.
Dear @MorahBless24599 ,
After the N26,500 acceptance fee, you don’t pay anything else till the end of your course.
Every course has its own timetable.
When I did the Graphic Design Program, our online classes held every Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm and Saturdays from 12pm to 3pm.
Group discussion classes were held on Thursdays and Fridays from 6pm to 9pm.
Honestly, it was demanding, especially with my 9-5 job. I almost gave up at some point. 😂
But thank God for the recorded classes and pre-recorded sessions available on our dashboards. Even after the training ends, you still have 3 months to revisit the dashboard, download your materials, watch recorded sessions and go through every notes again.
After those 3 months, the dashboard is deactivated.
Now, about the laptops: There’s a competition among students across different courses, and 2-3 winners are selected from each course to receive brand-new laptops.
Also, outstanding graduating students may be absorbed into the academy or referred to startups and other top companies for jobs and gigs.
And whenever job opportunities come up, they’re shared in the community group chats for interested students or graduates and alumni to apply.
That’s part of the access you get by attending the academy.
Beyond the training itself, the connections, networking and opportunity to meet people from different walks of life are priceless.
So, you’re not just learning a skill. You’re also gaining access to a community, opportunities and people who can help you grow.

Please I have few questions, asides the 26k, are we expected to pay any other money?
How is their training like both physical and online? Do you have to have ur own laptop or would they assist?
Lastly,is there an opportunity to get gigs or job bcuz even if we argue you need
And when the job no come, can’t you use the knowledge you’ve acquired to empower yourself?
Is it everyone who graduates from the university in their preferred course of study that eventually works in that field?
Do we all get jobs immediately after graduation?
There is a reason it’s called self-development first.
The idea is to develop yourself, put your knowledge to use, add value to people around you, and become someone people can trust and rely on.
With time, you get noticed. That visibility then open doors to job opportunities, monetization, and other meaningful opportunities.
Nothing happens overnight, abeg.
The mindset should be to empower yourself and become valuable first, not just because you want to get a job, but because you want to be able to create value wherever you find yourself.
