I am all over rookies and trading card inserts, but as far as scarcity and significance to pop culture go, the mag space is a literal gold rush. MJ's SLAM Debut • 47 Graded (16 at 9+) MJ's SI Debut • 252 Graded (13 at 9+) MJ's Fleer 1986 RC has been graded almost 60K times.
Getting your hands on Michael Jordan's 1995 SLAM debut is half the battle. Finding one that came cleanly off the printer (not to mention survived the last 30 years) is the fun part.

I like feisty, competitive rookies that aren't afraid to speak their mind. But saying this when you lost by 20+ is Centel-worthy. 🍿🍿🍿
Yaxel Lendeborg on Luka: "I had a lot of respect for him. But being in it firsthand and seeing all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect." "I was telling him he sucks. He can't score on me"

One of the coolest SLAM debuts of all time. The /94 Gold Metal for this issue is a grail.
This clip hits different now that he actually brought a championship to the city. Throwing it back to our SLAM cover shoot with Jalen Brunson in 2023.

HoopsHype is killing it on social lately. MJ playing with Kyrie and Kawhi... Larry Bird playing with Yao Ming... Hakeem with Al Horford and Mike Conley... Year 24 is insane 🤯
LeBron is about to begin his 24th NBA season. To put that longevity in context, had Michael Jordan extended his career that far, he would have faced Kyrie Irving. Bill Russell would have been teammates with Larry Bird. And Bird himself would have faced Amare Stoudemire.

For context, Jerry Reinsdorf bought his majority stake in the Chicago Bulls for $9.2 million back in 1985.
Michael Jordan's game-worn jersey from Game 2 of the 1998 NBA Finals has set a new basketball memorabilia record with a private sale price of $14 million. Three of MJ's jerseys from the 1998 Finals have sold in the past five years. Will we ever see the rest?

I've got this Kobe auto from 2017 with a PSA pop of 6. I've never sent a card to be graded before. What's the move? List it raw or get it slabbed?

I'm embracing old subscription issues of moments before my time, not to flip or grade, just to have. Indiana State Larry Bird and Michigan State Magic Johnson on back-to-back Sports Illustrated issues in 1979.

Everybody I know has given Angel Reese shit since the minute she faced Caitlin in that college championship game. Including me. Tonight she proved she's a superstar. She's clutch, she doesn't shy away from the moment, she understands the game, and she genuinely cares. Go Dream.

The designers are top notch. See how immersive a UI can feel? Now imagine the same folks putting these skills to work re-telling the story of the 2025-26 Knicks through a guided, immersive tour of the best Knicks Moments the curation team minted last year.
what would script if you were launching season 1 of this? is it around a specific nba season or one of their sets like RIB?

Not saying one fancy landing page is going to move the needle for anybody, but if Top Shot commits to leveraging the content they already have and become the consistent, standardized source of NBA footage I believe they can be, the platform becomes a daily ritual for hoops fans.

That's why I say stuff like the Netflix thing. NBA highlights don't endure in social algorithms. We treat them like perished goods. Yet, millions of people rewatch The Office and Seinfeld every year. It's a major gap in the market that Dapper is perfectly positioned to crush.
