Tested on GameSir Tarantula Pro, 8K mode, Polling 2 both runs. Pad by itself: 8000 Hz. Same pad through Curve Controller: 8000 Hz. Nothing lost.
Delay added: about 0.01 ms (no human can feel this lol). The app shows it live.
The drivers are ViGEm and HidHide, signed and open source. Steam Input is a virtual controller too; every Steam game with a controller already runs through one.
Firmware tuning with no drivers is a nice setup if your pad is one of the six it supports. Curve Controller is for all games and all controllers. If it plugs into a PC, it works.

It needs a driver installed (ViGEm), plus another tool to hide the real controller.
Virtual controllers run at about 1000 Hz, so you’d lose 8K polling, the main reason people buy these pads.
It adds a little delay, and some anti-cheats are suspicious of virtual controllers.

There’s been a bug on controller since the start of the season where the left stick dead zone doesn’t activate until about 20-30% no matter what it’s set to in the settings. Shoutout @Austvns for figuring out what the issue was. Would love a fix. @FortniteStatus @JibbSmart

Controller by default should keep you in build mode when sprint editing in build mode rather than forcing your gun to pull out after. Could there be some option to enable this? @JibbSmart @FortniteStatus
