Always explain the moment in time at which we're meeting you characters - what's going on in their lives, what brought them to this point, what are their issues and/or goals? #amwriting #writerslife #writingcommunity #authorsoftwitter :-)

I have a notebook and pen nearby me at all times - with my computer, on my nightstand, in my car, atop the microwave, next to my favorite chair, and in my purse. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve captured words or phrases I would’ve hated to lose. #amwriting #writerslife

Introduce aromas, scents and odors into you descriptions, and use these actual words in your text correctly. These shared senses will quickly pull a reader into the midst of your story. Food for thought. #amwriting #writerslife #writingtip #writingcommunity :-)
