ALT ::: Take Away ::: In the scenario of rapid urbanization, it is the need of the hour to understand the gravity of the fast changing animal lifestyle due to human actions. This drive for development has made humans selfish and led them to commit dangerous acts towards the animal communities. This not only leads to a reduction in the number of their population, but also leads to their exploitation and denial of their rights. We humans should understand the intensity of the situation as without animals, it is impossible for human lives to continue peacefully. Thus, despite urbanization, it is in the interest of the human communities to protect animal livelihoods and coexist with them harmoniously following ahimsa.
