Most art "talent" is just 10k+ hours of ugly warmup doodles and practice sheets that nobody sees, but potentially artistic individuals would rather doompost "i'm just not creative", "oh I wish I could draw", and doomscroll instead of sitting down for 30 minutes a day and accepting their sketchbook will look and feel like a crime scene for the first two-three years (event less for those who are determined).
No one's born with talent, an affinity maybe. But that affinity does nothing if you don't train it.

We lost something truly amazing in the world when The Designers Republic shut down.
This was peak, imho the original Mirrors Edge was a worthy successor to some of this in terms of world design, but the logos & UI design still has little competition in gaming.
