“Solo es un poco de drama de pareja que acaban resolviendo”
Su relación es así en los cómics, aquí ya son adultos y siguen teniendo el mismo problema, después descubrimos que 2 de sus hijos se sintieron desplazados por su padre toda la vida
No resuelven una mierda

“They have it too easy” “not enough drama”
Sorry I’d rather my protagonist be smart than spend 30 minutes not figuring out the easiest shit on the planet. We got people to save, Sirens to vanquish

I’ve always found it interesting how you’ll always hear anti-Indigenous types harp on the Aztec Empire’s “brutal human sacrifice” practices yet never talk about how at the same time their uncivilized ancestors were boiling their own people alive 5500 miles to the east in England
The Aztec Empire on the eve of Spanish contact in 1519
When the Spanish reached central Mexico in 1519, they were not entering an empty land or a loose collection of villages. They arrived in the middle of the Aztec Empire, a powerful political system centered on the Valley of Mexico and connected by conquest, alliances, and tribute.
The empire did not function like a modern country with fixed borders and direct rule everywhere. Many regions shown on this map were governed by their own local leaders, who remained in place as long as they paid tribute and recognized Aztec authority. Control was strongest near the capital and became more fragile the farther out it extended.
This helps explain what the Spanish encountered as they moved inland. When Hernán Cortés and his allies advanced, they entered a landscape shaped by rival city states, heavy tribute demands, and long standing tensions. Not everyone under Aztec dominance saw the empire as legitimate or stable.
This map captures a brief moment just before everything changed. Within only a few years, this political system would collapse completely. But in 1519, the Aztec Empire still stood at its height, commanding much of central Mexico through influence rather than uniform control.

Like Clarisse defying Annabeth’s plan to sacrifice her soldiers, and Annabeth remarking that a daughter of Ares shouldn’t hesitate when it comes to war. That mindset later comes back to haunt Clarisse through Silena.. who teaches her about boys and how to flirt and has become her closest friend and someone she adores..
So when Clarisse refuses to send her siblings to die in Season 5 after so much loss and bloodshed. that choice, rooted in having emotions and grief and pride, ultimately pushes Silena to make the devastating decision she does.
I’m really excited to see what the writers do with characters like Chris, Nico, Zoë, Charles, and others… but especially Silena when she’s introduced. She’s such a layered, compelling character, and the show has already added thoughtful nuance across the board, subtly planting seeds for the arcs and tragedies ahead as these kids grow into young adulthood and the story matures with them.
