Aside from getting production of some of the plastic parts moved forward, we got a LOT of transfer case linkages made this week. This probably a 3rd of what's shipped out. Winter is approaching, get your #Jeep fixed before the snow falls, and you got to go under and move everything by hand... again!

You got to make your product worth what you charge for it. Or at least feel that way. Its called perceived value. First time the use of AI makes itself apparent and breaks immersion or gameplay, the player will feel cheated. Especially if that game is on revocable license. And that's if you can convince people to pay AAA prices to a company that fired its human developers.
Tim Sweeney is criticizing Valve again over Steam’s requirement for developers to disclose their use of generative AI. The Epic Games CEO called the policy “abhorrent,” arguing that developers are being forced to make a “political statement” that could be used against them by a “hate mob.” Sweeney has been criticizing the policy since 2025, previously comparing the disclosure to a “Scarlet Letter” and arguing that AI will eventually be part of almost every game production process.

one of my gripes with @PrusaSlicer and Orca both is the arrangement tools. On the left, PS 2.9.6, right, 3.0.0 alpha11. 2.9.6: Fill bed with instances. Wait 15 minutes. Straight line across bed. Tell it to arrange current bed, places 5 of them on it, the rest floating. Manually move them to the bed... arrange. Come back 15 min later. Arranged in random chaos. Try to fix, slice, still too close, slice again. 3.0.0.a11: add 50 instances. 3 min later, they are arranged to a grid. Gold star on this front!! Only things that would make it better are an array command, and a selection tool with a fence, that wont move your view around if you miss an object.

So nice to do multi-material printing and it just works with INDX. Polycarbonate hood clips for Jeep Cherokee / Comanche with HIPS support interface. These used to take much more effort to get a clean result on normal supports. Now, its effortless and the bottom surface looks as clean as the top.

That's a heck of a cast finish.
The team did a live demo casting last night of some fun belt buckles in aluminum. Here’s how they turned out;

Historical comparisons aside, your designer needs to learn how to use the contour tool better. And needs an editor without macular degeneration.

Showed my wife this one. She works with team logos at an embroidery shop every day. The response was "oh. OOOOH. WHY!?" 🤣 Similar reaction from my old design lead Prof Rust.

If your IT guy isn't sweating right now, they are either good at their job, or hired under nepotism. Maybe bring them a cool drink.

I should have ordered more stock with the last laser shop order, we have 15 left, these linkages have been surprisingly popular the last month! Our transfer case linkage is the last one your Jeep Wrangler YJ will ever need. USA designed, made supported, and an @OfficialMOPAR part too!

I wonder if this is going to be like the late 90's when a lot of the new low-VOC clearcoats failed early on Dodges.
This was at the Jeep plant in Toledo
