And the clean-up attempt involved him directing someone to knowingly leak classified national defense information to a reporter. The guy was LITERALLY running the federal law enforcement agency that INVESTIGATES the illegal leaking of national defense information so that the DOJ can PROSECUTE IT was deliberately engaging in this identical criminal conduct. WHY WOULD HE DO THAT? What was he TRYING to keep HIDDEN? Sure, they're gonna TELL YOU he was 'just trying to correct the record'. Makin' sure the Fake News media 'got the story right'. Breaking: 9th Circuit denies DOJ's emergency request for CA to separate 20k alleged non-citizen ballots, saying it doesn't have jurisdiction. This case will still go before federal judge Carter in LA tomorrow. In the 9th Circuit panel, 2/3 judges were Trump-appointed. The one dissenting judge, Trump-appointed Judge Bumatay wrote: "...federal law precludes California from commingling ballots likely cast by aliens with legitimate ballots, because it encourages and induces illegal voting. Stopping that practice for those identified as likely noncitizens is the bare minimum. I respectfully dissent." Judge Sanchez, wrote: "The United States seeks to have a federal court dictate to California the manner in which it must administer its own electoral process by segregating mail-in ballots and undertaking a citizenship-verification process the State has never done before. This is the Reuters report that Jim Comey wanted to correct, via the New York Times, related to a FISA court order requiring Yahoo to scan "hundreds of millions of Yahoo Mail accounts" for information allegedly tied to a state sponsored terrorist organization. Either the FBI or NSA, according to Reuters, made the request to a FISA judge--who signed off on the application sometime in early 2015. Complying with the FISA order caused quite a stir at the company, resulting in the departure of Yahoo's chief information security officer. Reuters: "Some surveillance experts said this represents the first case to surface of a U.S. Internet company agreeing to an intelligence agency's request by searching all arriving messages, as opposed to examining stored messages or scanning a small number of accounts in real time."
