I'm incredibly excited to finally show off the piece I made for Halo Fest this year. Thanks a ton to @Tashi343i and @Halo for giving me the chance to make even a small contribution to such an amazing event and franchise. The gorgeous Mark IV was made entirely from scratch by the insanely talented @Chunch7275, and I couldn't appreciate him enough for letting me use his model, and being so quick to iterate and finish it for this piece. This piece was based loosely on the painting "Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan" by Ilya Repin, instead focused on Samuel-034 and the events preceding his death aboard the Unrelenting.

I’m truly honored to be a part of this talented group of artists who Halo Studios commissioned. And I of course had to make something with my redesigned Blue Team💙 Thank you to @Tashi343i, @ske7ch and the rest of the team for making this possible. Definitely a dream come true!

I finally get to share this! If you’ve seen my recent animations, you’ll know that my favorite art style is retrofuturism! Hope I did the big man in green justice! Thank you so much @Halo and @Tashi343i for this incredible opportunity! I’ve dreamed of contributing to this franchise since I was a kid. 🖤🫂🌎

It's official! My art for HaloFest! Still feels so surreal to have gotten this opportunity. There's some real legends in here. Many thanks to Tashi and the Halo team for letting me craft this love letter to one of my favorite parts of the franchise: Halo Wars.

I am thrilled to show off the art piece I created for @Halo Fest this year! I am honored to have been given the opportunity to create artwork in an official capacity like this, and I cannot wait to see all the artists' work in person at the event.

Hope everyone's enjoying their weekends - I just published this blog on Halo Fest recapping and reconfirming what we've announced up to point, and dropping a few new pieces of information. Expect details to be released on a more rapid pace from here on out. Read here: halowaypoint.com/news/halo-f…

I don't have much personal artwork to share right now since I have a fair bunch of comms at the moment, but I'm excited to share those as they come to a close :D Here's a sneak peek of a few 👀

Sharing this more broadly. This week you're going to start seeing comms on official channels again. The focus will be providing info about Halo Fest, celebrating the community and 25 years of Halo, and relevant game info like @HaloSupport has been posting already. We'll also provide a blog just reconfirming things we've announced and have in plan for Halo Fest. There's a huge amount of Halo fans who are looking forward to the event to attend or watch from home, and we're looking forward to providing a platform for the community to celebrate 25 years of Halo and each other.

Yep we are reopening comms on things this coming week. I don't think there's anything we previously announced that's changing.

Bit late to this, but I absolutely adore the concept art for Zeta Halo shared in this Canon Fodder These pieces show the potential that Halo Infinite had to expand to different environments on the ring SO well. It's a shame we won't have Infinite DLC to explore this in.
And we're live! Our final Canon Fodder, complete with never before seen art and a sign-off from myself and Jeff Easterling as we look back on all the good times, handing off to the next chapter—whatever it may be. 💚💙 🫂 aka.ms/CanonFodder171

I absolutely love when people who are commissioning me make little stick figure drawings to show their concept. It may not be the best work of art in the world, but it makes for a great starting point
Always fun to look back at my silly drawings and how the Warframe team turns them into amazing things!

there are too many claims and sources flying around of late to start addressing them all (in due time), but this one is annoyingly false. There was no "leadership blacklist." Sure, some ppl and partners understandably don't like negative/critical sentiment or coverage - particularly with things like review copies/early access which are inherently intended to drive (good) awareness. Xperia's video actually directly led to some specific AI improvements at the finish line. Who knows who might have or have not been included "next time", there was no next time even on deck. It's all just speculative and baseless. "the thing we don't like ended up in the game" doesn't correlate to "the developers only listened to yes-men in the community." Overall project and stakeholder vision and intent, real world constraints (time/resources), and/or conflicting preferences shared by different groups are all reasons why things end up the way they do that any of us may not like in the end result. In my experience in some of these groups, feedback was measured and mature, and there were countless debates, but certainly not just glazing for the sake of glazing. Personal opinions vary as much as those across this passionate community. T Additionally, something like a council group is but one vector of insights that goes along with traditional user research (administered hands-on tests and focus surveys), inputs like support tickets, playtesting, partners, and even anecdotal community feedback - positive and negative (videos, posts, etc.). I'm grateful for everyone who has shared feedback in a respectful, constructive manner wherever and however it occurred. It's a gift and Halo is fortunate to have such a passionate longstanding community. I look forward to seeing how community and player insights shape the future of Halo.

Over the weekend, we hit 10,000 subscribers on YouTube. That number is honestly a little hard for me to wrap my head around. If there’s anything I hope this channel stands for, it’s the idea that you can learn almost anything if you’re willing to put in the work and stay committed to your vision. I started with Machinima. No animation background. No filmmaking degree. No grand plan for where any of this would go. Just a love for Halo, storytelling, and an idea in my head that I desperately wanted to figure out how to put on a screen. Since then, this channel has pushed me to learn video editing softwares, Blender, Unreal Engine, animation, motion capture, cinematography, sound design, and about a thousand other things I once had absolutely no idea how to do. And I’m still learning. There have been plenty of moments where something felt completely beyond me, only for it to become another tool in the toolbox a few months later. That might be the part of this journey I’m proudest of. Not the number itself. The fact that we kept building. Every video has been another experiment. Another lesson. Another small step toward creating the kind of stories I used to only imagine making. And somehow, 10,000 of you decided you wanted to come along for that ride. That means more to me than I can properly put into words. To everyone who has watched, commented, shared a video, submitted art, laughed at one of these ridiculous characters, supported L.E.N.S, or simply hit subscribe… Thank you. Seriously. 10,000 is a milestone I’ll never forget. And I still feel like we’re just getting started. 🖤🫂

I enjoyed every encounter with Uny, who was always super positive and fun to be around both online and in person at Worlds. I had to dig up this clip from a couple of years ago- one of my favorite moments in Infinite (even if it was a total betrayal). 🫡👊
Thank you. To the Halo community. Thank you for your relentless passion, feedback, and support. It was a pleasure and a privilege to represent you over the last 11 years. Whether it was meeting you in-person at events, troubleshooting issues with you online, talking to you on broadcasts, checking out your Forge creations, or sharing your constructive criticism to push for change - I truly loved it. Your voices have helped shape the best aspects of our games. Without each of you, Halo would not be the same. To my teammates. Thank you for always hearing me out and letting me push for more. Whether I was asking your team to make a pivot or fix one more bug before a release, you all trusted that it would be the right call. Collaborating with so many bright people across nearly every discipline was such a unique and rewarding part of this role. It was also an honor to have your support while leading the Gameplay Team for the last two years of Halo Infinite. I was humbled - but not the least bit surprised - that so many of you rallied to ship impactful features and community-requested updates, which ultimately brought the game to a great place for our players. Your talent and dedication never ceased to amaze, and it pushed me to do better every day. I will always be grateful for your partnership, mentorship, and friendship. Although I’ll be moving on to different work, I’m excited for the future of Halo and I can’t wait to experience its next steps alongside all of you. Thank you for everything.

Different type of project than I normally do, but it was nice to do some more paintover work
The Campaign Evolved Assault Rifle was almost perfect, it just needed some adjustments. First image is the edit, second is the original. Special thanks to @BB12_fx for this edit!
