It would be absolutely hilarious for the Giants to trade a Day 2 pick (when they’re already running *dangerously* low on draft capital) for Quenton Nelson, then give him a $120M/4Y extension just 1.5 months after they gave Runyan (who stinks) a $22M/2Y extension and just about 5.5 months after they took a guard in the top-10 (who also currently stinks).
I’d love to sign Nelson in free agency, but trading a highly valuable pick for him would show an absolutely hilarious mismanagement of both money and draft capital.
