On 06th November 2026, CMD, BCCL, Shri Manoj Kumar Agarwal, formally welcomed Shri Anand Mohan, Director (Technical), CMPDIL, at Koyla Bhawan, Dhanbad, on his assumption of the additional charge of Director (Technical), BCCL. Shri Mohan is a mining professional with over 35 years of experience in the coal mining sector. An alumnus of Karnataka Regional Engineering College, Surathkal, and IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, he has served in various capacities across CIL subsidiaries, including NCL, WCL, BCCL, CCL and ECL. His experience spans opencast and underground mining operations, project management, safety, environmental management and sustainable mining practices. With his extensive industry experience and technical expertise, Shri Mohan is expected to contribute to BCCL's operational efficiency, project development and organisational growth. #BCCL #Dhanbad #Leadership #TeamBCCL

On 06.11.2026, a GMs’ Coordination Meeting was held at Koyla Bhawan, BCCL Headquarters, Dhanbad, under the chairmanship of CMD, Shri Manoj Kumar Agarwal. The meeting was attended by Director (Technical/Operations) Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Finance & HR) Shri Rajesh Kumar, Area GMs, HQ GMs/HoDs, CISF Commandants and other senior officials. The meeting reviewed area-wise coal production, OBR and offtake. All three parameters showed improvement during October. Appreciating the progress, CMD stressed the need to maintain this performance and achieve the targets set under the Annual Action Plan (AAP). The review covered production plans for departmental, hired and awarded patches, MDO projects, contract performance, coal dispatch through rail and road, pumping operations, environmental and forest clearances, power supply and weighbridge operations. Washery performance, coal quality, financial performance and CAPEX progress were also discussed, along with ways to make better use of available resources. CMD emphasised that the improved performance of October should continue in the coming months, with all Areas focusing on their production plans and working towards the AAP targets. दिनांक 04.11.2026 को बीसीसीएल मुख्यालय में अध्यक्ष-सह-प्रबंध निदेशक श्री मनोज कुमार अग्रवाल की उपस्थिति में कार्यरत कर्मियों के पदोन्नति पत्र वितरण एवं अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्ति पत्र वितरण समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर सीएमडी द्वारा मुख्यालय के 93 कर्मचारियों को पदोन्नति आदेश एवं 105 लाभार्थियों को अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्ति पत्र प्रदान किए गए। कार्यक्रम में निदेशक (वित्त एवं मानव संसाधन) श्री राजेश कुमार सहित मुख्यालय के महाप्रबंधक/विभागाध्यक्ष एवं अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। उल्लेखनीय है कि दिनांक 01.11.2026 को बीसीसीएल के सभी क्षेत्रों एवं मुख्यालय में कुल 943 कर्मचारियों को पदोन्नति प्रदान की गई थी। यह पहल कर्मचारियों के योगदान को सम्मान देने तथा अनुकंपा नियुक्ति के माध्यम से प्रभावित परिवारों को सहयोग प्रदान करने की बीसीसीएल की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती है। #BCCL #CoalIndia #EmployeePromotion #CompassionateAppointment #EmployeeWelfare #BCCLFamily

A record-breaking day for BCCL! BCCL achieved its highest single-day coal dispatch of FY 2026-27, reaching 1,43,000 tonnes on 02.11.2026. The achievement was accompanied by the highest single-day rail loading of 32 rakes, with 25 rakes for the power sector. On 02.11.2026, Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) received the prestigious 5-Star Rating Award for Moonidih Colliery under its Western Jharia (WJ) Area for FY 2024-25.
