I want my colleagues in Toronto to know that I was also inconvenienced today related to weather. The lawn mower ran out of gas so had to go to the gas station. The good news is they had sunscreen which saved me having to go to Shoppers so I will call that a win.

"My only hope is that, on the way to court, they do not run into a bridge." - Premier David Eby responding to Chohan Freight Forwarding (trucking company) taking the province to court to have its suspension overturned after its drivers hit six (6!) overpasses. World class zinger.

Paladin Security Group has sold their systems division to Bosch. We’ve seen this movie many times before and it ends with selling the security officer division!
Once you pay for it you own it. Never let a regular retail store check your receipt. Costco is different. Don’t let retailers get away with this receipt checking business!

Great support from Gardaworld and human-i on a significant corporate risk management issues of late. If you need to manage high level risk issues you should check out human-i.org for intelligence.
Looking for video integration into POS systems and an integrator for install. You would think this would be an easy one but everything seems complicated these days and real vendor solutions elusive!
Great response by security staff at our Children’s and Woman’s site this morning on a significant incident. Their efforts helped lead us to a positive outcome. Thank you.
My colleagues agree that Western Canada desperately needs more capable security companies working in the health field. The current service landscape needs to change so companies stop taking the work for granted. We need help out West!
Here’s a quest for the security service world…how large of a security service contract does it need to be in order to feel like a valued customer? We seriously need to know.
