First impressions may not have been great but there are some lovely things about the Woolwich square revamp such as the now water-filled old cattle trough now installed
#strandaldwych in London converted a 4 lane, one way gyratory into a cultural and educational district, providing:
7000m2 of public space
1750m2 of planting and lawn
40 trees
Seating for 700 people
A flexible space for installations and cultural expression. Here’s the result.
Thank you @LREF_ for an incredible gathering that felt optimistic about the future of placemaking and design. It was also a chance to get a sneak peek of the #knightsbridge #placeplan vision developed by @LDADesign @PlacemakingLdn and #NRP for the Knightsbridge Partnership.
#stationhill is becoming the gateway to Reading, connecting the station to the town centre. It will be a destination in its own right. @LDADesign designed the place-inspired vision with @ArcadisUK @Gensler_Europe @lincolnpropco Exciting to see it becoming fully formed.
