Most RWA projects focus on tokenizing real world assets. But what happens when those assets become part of an actual financial ecosystem? That’s where @strato_net caught my attention. STRATO is building a HardFi Layer 1 designed to bring tokenized assets, borrowing, trading, savings and financial applications together. And there’s already some interesting traction behind it. A few numbers worth looking at: → #3 among Gold & Commodities platforms by DeFi Active TVL on DefiLlama. → $13.2M in assets used in DeFi. → $27.66M in tracked metals Active AUM. → $4.69M in active loans. What makes this interesting is how GOLDST and SILVST go beyond simply giving users exposure to precious metals. They connect tokenized gold and silver to borrowing, trading and savings within the ecosystem. The team also has some serious history. STRATO’s founders have been building Ethereum infrastructure since 2014, and Joe Lubin, Ethereum co founder and ConsenSys founder, is an advisor. Now, there’s also the $STRATO token coming into the picture. With a maximum supply of 100M tokens and 55.2% allocated to the community, its published utility model includes staking and validator participation, alongside governance and other network functions. My take: The interesting part isn’t just tokenizing gold or silver. It’s building the infrastructure that makes these assets useful across multiple financial applications. STRATO seems to be taking that direction seriously, and I’ll be keeping a close eye on what they’re building ahead of TGE. What do you think: Is HardFi the next interesting evolution of DeFi?
