Exciting but insane to see 2023 applicants getting their acceptance emails! Feels like only minutes ago I got mine in 2019/20 😅😅 welcome to the team! #teachfirst

Know that no pupil wakes up just wanting to be “your problem” …try and remember that there is always something far bigger going on than you. (#HaveFun☺️)

It is so lovely to see students and parents/carers sending photos in already, with reasons for taking part such as "learning as a family and watching it grow" "To grow beans that we can eat" @UnityBlackpool #BSW21 Here is mine on day 5 🌱

I can't help but love the enthusiasm of @UnityBlackpool Year 6! Lots of participation and great questions from inquisitive students during our pluck (heart, lung and liver) dissection ♥️ #STEM #Biology

I didn't think I would be saying this but 5 hours of teaching about gonorrhoea to year 10 was one of our best days of learning! 99% of them engaged, asking great questions and doing all written work. Now for the challenge... to get the same level of interest for plant diseases!

Is anyone else strangely enjoying teaching the same lesson 5 times a week? I'm finding it really good to immediately reflect and implement changes to the same lesson within a short space of time. @TF_Ambassadors @TeachFirstNW @BEACHmeet

As I was walking home from school today a car pulled up in traffic behind me with a smiling young lady shouting and waving 'Mrs Francisco!' So lovely to see her smile and hear an ex @UnityBlackpool pupil is doing well 🥰
