On #October7 , BESA Center at @ubarilan hosted a senior Canadian delegation visiting Israel, including the #Gaza_Envelope . The visit focused on BESA’s strategic research and strengthening #Israel–#Canada dialogue and ties.
The Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies was honored to host @meisenstadt58 of @WashInstitute for Near East Policy for a lecture on "War Termination Challenges: from #Iran to #Gaza ." He explored the strategic challenges of ending wars, focusing on Iran, Gaza, deterrence, and post-conflict realities, followed by a lively discussion with participants.
As part of the 2026 BESA Internship Program, our interns visited the Gaza Envelope, including the Nova memorial, Kibbutz Kissufim, and Sderot. The tour connected their academic studies of security and strategy with the realities of October 7, deepening their understanding of the challenges facing Israel.
Today, the BESA Center hosted Iddo Netanyahu to mark 50 years since #Operation_Entebbe. He spoke about the historic rescue mission, during which his brother Yonatan Netanyahu was killed while leading the rescue force, sharing a personal perspective on #leadership, #courage, and #sacrifice.
