I strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack against the Greek Orthodox church in Karak, Jordan, which claimed innocent lives and left many injured.
My heartfelt condolences go to the families of the victims, and I wish a swift recovery to those injured.
At this painful moment, I wish to express my personal solidarity with His Majesty King Abdullah II @KingAbdullahII , a dear friend, and with the people of Jordan. Bulgaria stands firmly alongside Jordan in the face of terrorism and extremism.
Attacks against innocent civilians and places of worship are utterly unacceptable. We stand united in defending peace, religious tolerance and the values of coexistence that Jordan, under His Majesty’s leadership, has long championed.

Met Ukraine's Deputy PM @VVChentsov on the margins of #EUCO. Black Sea security is a shared concern, and safe navigation for commercial vessels needs joint action. We also discussed Ukraine's enlargement process: its readiness for reforms is key, and Bulgaria welcomes the IGC earlier this week.

I strongly condemn the repeated drone attacks on commercial vessels in the immediate vicinity of Bulgaria’s territorial waters.
These unacceptable acts violate the very principles of safe navigation and further undermine security in the Black Sea. These attacks have real consequences: they both endanger the lives of merchant mariners and impact food security globally.
Romania stands in full solidarity with Bulgaria. The security of the Black Sea is essential to European security, and the safety of civilian crews and freedom of navigation must be safeguarded. Those responsible for these attacks must be held accountable.

The EU stands in full solidarity with Bulgaria following last night's attacks on cargo vessels off its coast.
Attacks on civilian shipping and merchant vessels in the Black Sea are escalating. They are totally unacceptable.
The European Council will address the situation and the intensification of Russia’s hybrid campaigns at its meeting later this week.

The Black Sea has become another front of escalation of the Russian war in Ukraine.
This is unacceptable.
I strongly condemn the drone attacks on merchant ships near Bulgaria’s coast.
Putting the lives of the crew in grave danger and threatening security in the Black Sea.
We stand with Bulgaria and thank its rescuers for their swift response.
Those responsible should be held accountable.

The latest attack on a commercial vessel in the immediate vicinity of Bulgaria’s territorial waters is absolutely unacceptable.
At 01:30, a distress call was received from a vessel 18 nautical miles east of Byala. According to the crew, the Chelsea 3—sailing under the Maltese flag, registered in Odesa and Ukrainian-owned—was struck on its deck and side by three aerial drones. All 15 crew members—seven Ukrainian and eight Azerbaijani nationals—were safely transported to the port of Varna. Five are receiving medical assistance.
Our Permanent Representatives to NATO and the EU have been informed. Bulgaria continues to seek support for an investigation into the attacks to determine the country of origin of the drones. We are also seeking assistance to strengthen surveillance of the air and maritime domains and enhance our response capabilities.
We do not have clear and conclusive evidence to attribute responsibility to either side. However, as I have already stated, the logic suggests that the outcome benefits the Russian Federation. I will therefore summon the Russian Ambassador for a meeting today.
At an extraordinary meeting of the Security Council under the Council of Ministers, we also received information about another vessel, struck 17 nautical miles east of Krapets. It sank, and one crew member was rescued.
