Today's life lesson! The unit of volume is called "cubic centimetres"! NOT "centimetres cubed". Here's your explanation (saving us chemists from having to explain it in class all the time)...😁

Kelsey Grammer on reparations: I don’t have to apologize for my grandparents.
“My grandparents were extraordinary people. They survived the Depression. They fought World War II. My grandfather was away from home for 28 months in the South Pacific. This is not a man who has to apologize for who he is.”
“Do the people who have ancestors who were killed in the Civil War owe reparations?
Do the Italians who came after the Civil War owe money?
Do the Irish who came through Ellis Island owe money?
I think it’s just a dodge.”

The annual Neutralisation Knockout Challenge started today. 3H kicked it off and the winner (with some outstanding neutralisation skills) was Jake! [PS. Aaron, Abigail & Tyler were absent, so challenges may yet be made against the validity of the competition!]

All of those who got an A in Chemistry can be proud that it was thoroughly deserved. 70% needed at N5 and Higher for an A. No lowering the top cut-off in our subject!💪 AH was lower at 64%.
It's results day!!! Good luck to all the Braidy pupils. Hope you're waking up to the results you were hoping for and deserve!🤞
Well done to all the pupils of @BraidhurstMusic for putting on such a brilliant show last night & well done to all the Primary pupils for great contributions. A special mention must go to Aaron McLachlan's brilliant sax playing. It made an old Chemistry teacher's night.👍😁
