The Packers got a stop on the Lions 22 with 4:50 remaining in the game and proceeded to produce a putrid three play sequence including a dropped TD and then had a 35 yard FG attempt blocked. That sequence is where a good team would have overcome the officiating.

On the pass by Patrick Mahomes, the officials ruled No. 11, Jalen Royals, was in the area, therefore it was not intentional grounding. Two totally different calls for the Chiefs and Packers. Pretty wild.
That Mahomes pass just now wasn’t grounding but the Jordan Love attempt to Kraft earlier was lol. Ok @NFL you definitely have to answer for this one. Two officiating crews with two completely different interpretations of the rule on the same day.

#Packers Keisean Nixon on some of the penalties in the game, no calls for Jordan Love and explains the bizarre one where the ref threw a flag when laying on his back. "We can't leave it in the ref's hands. They clearly don't like Jordan Love, they throw none for him." #GoPackGo

#Packers inability to score after this stop totally spoiled an outstanding performance by the defense. Lions averaged nearly 33 ppg in their first five games. The 20 points Detroit scored today was its lowest point total at home since Week 2 in 2024 (a span of 19 home games).
This decision is getting crushed. The long 1 distance only converts about 63-64% of the time, an important factor. If you are not a good sneak team/aren’t going to sneak, your conversion rate starts approaching the range where you should punt this.

#Packers don’t deserve to win this game after failing to score on that last possession starting at the Detroit 22-yard line. That said, the officials have been beyond explanation.

This continues to be BEYOND EMBARASSING for NFL officials. That was NOT roughing the passer.

#Packers missing out on nine points from kicking in a tie game.

Jordan Love deserves a better team. One of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. A receiving core that consistently drops perfectly placed passes. He’s never had a reliable kicking game.

.@NFLOfficiating hasn’t tweeted in three years, which at this point feels like the last time any group of them had a clean game. Being allowed to grab and restrict the receiver from extending his arm to catch the ball is about as big an advantage as you can give a defender.

Brandon Cisse with two gigantic plays on third and fourth down. He’s been as good as the #Packers could’ve hoped for a rookie corner.

Two weeks in a row. The main play-by-play announcer calls it “two-hand touch.” The NFL and its officials are making its game a mockery of tackle football with what is being called for roughing the passer. #Packers

So kicker issues have basically cost the #Packers six points so far today.

Is the prevailing notion now that Washington’s defense made Hecklinski look so good?

Iowa’s offense playing like this is the annual game the team loses that it absolutely should not lose.
