Stablecoins rebuilt the rails. We’re rebuilding what balances earn on them.
@BTC_Jeff, Tom, and I founded @opentrade_io because we believed that every balance should be able to grow, and that platforms and institutions needed infrastructure they could trust to make it happen.
Today, more than $1B in transaction volume has moved through OpenTrade in the past 12 months. Our mission hasn't changed. The scale has, and our brand needed to catch up.
So we've rebuilt it. A new OpenTrade, designed to be as clear, credible and trusted as the institutions that rely on us expect.
One idea sits behind everything we build: Unlock more.
Because every balance should count.
1/ Billions in stablecoins sit idle on platforms, earning nothing for the businesses that hold them or the users who trust them
We built @opentrade_io to put those balances to work with yield from high-quality real-world assets. $300M in TVL says the market agrees
At @money2020 USA 🇺🇸 next week. Coffee’s on me, just fill out the form in the reply below
I'm at @token2049 Singapore today and tomorrow.
If your platform holds stablecoins that aren't earning anything, for your treasury or your customers, I'd like to talk. @opentrade_io gives you access to yield vaults backed by high-quality real-world assets through one integration.
If that sounds like you, send me a DM.
See you there! @token2049
Your users' balances and your own treasury have one thing in common: left sitting, neither earns anything
We'll be at @token2049 Singapore, October 7-8, talking yield on both
Find @BTC_Dave, @BTC_Jeff, and Ronnie there, or send them a DM to book a call.
We founded @opentrade_io because we believed stablecoins would become the settlement layer for global finance
Now @SoFi settles a card program expected to pass $25B in annualized volume on @Mastercard's network with them
Spoke to @TheStreet about it 👇

Last week, the OpenTrade team got together in New Orleans 🇺🇸
Most days we're a team spread across time zones on a screen. This week it was gumbo, po' boys and an alligator who got a little too close for the group photo
It's been a big year: the team has grown, we've hit our goals and there's real momentum behind what we're building
A few days in the same room has us all heading home re-energized for what comes next.
Grateful for this crew. Thanks for having us, Big Easy
Thank you for having me on @imyoungsparks at the @avax Summit last week
I always thoroughly enjoy chatting with @BTC_Dave! We caught up at The Avalanche Summit on US Fintech Adoption, the latest @opentrade_io, Building on Avalanche, and so much more 🔺

Our CEO @BTC_Dave joined @imyoungsparks on Layer One at the @avax summit to talk U.S. fintech adoption 👇
Stablecoin adoption in the US is a fintech push, not a consumer pull, says OpenTrade's @BTC_Dave.

Cross-border payments still run on outdated, decades-old tech.
Stablecoins skipped all of it, and now settle more than $30T a year, which is more than Visa, Mastercard and PayPal combined.
OpenTrade CEO @BTC_Dave spoke to @EntrepreneurUK on what comes next: why yield became how stablecoin fintechs acquire and retain users, why RWAs are winning as institutions move in, and why over a third of LATAM consumers have already paid with a stablecoin.
The next generation of financial services is being built on digital dollars.

1/ The best yield isn’t tied to one product. It's the one matched to each customer’s risk, return, and liquidity needs.
A neobank protecting consumer savings and an asset manager optimizing for return need different things from the same dollar.
OpenTrade gives fintechs the full range of yield sources to choose from, Money Market Funds, Bonds, ETFs, Private Credit, CLOs, Delta neutral strategies, Staking, DeFi LP, along with the tools to combine and tailor them into exactly the product their users need.
This episode was a bit outside my area of expertise, but it was probably one of the most fun.
The largest IPO in history was Alibaba in 2014, reaching $25B.
SpaceX just raised three times that at $75B. OpenAI and Anthropic are also planning to IPO this year, representing an estimated $135B in newly issued shares. If successful, these three companies will change the course of history.
What's the bear/bull case for each? Are these valuations justified? What can go wrong, and what happens if it does go wrong? Is this all just a sci-fi fantasy? How will domestic politics impact the trajectory of these companies and their peers?
We answer these questions and more in the most recent episode of @Money_Moves_Pod with @sjolewis and @eppy314.
Democratizing access to the dollar.
1/ 2000% TVL growth in 18 months.
That’s what happens when you build the yield infrastructure layer that every stablecoin-powered fintech in the world actually needs.
OpenTrade Co-Founder and CEO @BTC_Dave joined by @imyoungsparks and @John1wu on @TheBlockCo's Layer One podcast to break down why yield is the missing piece for stablecoin financial services - and why emerging markets are where this is playing out fastest. @sjolewis joins to share why yield capture is where @mercuryfund is placing their highest conviction bets.

April was a month I'm genuinely proud of not just for the numbers, but for what they represent.
$200M+ in TVL. #1 and #2 on @stablewatchHQ. The launch of Curation+ and the Prime+ Vault on @avax. And the first episodes of @Money_Moves_Pod with @sjolewis and @eppy314.
Every one of these took months of hard work across our team and our partners, and seeing it all come together in a single month is a reminder of what we're building toward.
@BTC_Jeff's Cointelegraph piece captures the bigger picture well: $33 trillion in stablecoin transaction volumes in 2025 and the real question isn't supply, it's who captures the value moving through that infrastructure. We believe the answer has to include the users and platforms driving that velocity, and that's exactly what OpenTrade is built to enable.
Curation+ is a direct expression of that conviction. Bespoke vaults, actively managed, built for fintechs and neobanks that need predictable yield without the operational overhead. The Prime+ Vault is just the first.
There is a lot more to come.
1/ April was a big month for OpenTrade. Here's what happened 👇
We crossed $200M+ in TVL, launched Curation+ and the Prime+ Vault, held top spots on @stablewatchHQ, and kicked off a new podcast with @mercuryfund.

1/ $540M+ in transaction volume in the past 12 months. $235M+ in assets deployed. 99.9% uptime with full on-chain transparency.
Here's what fintechs around the world are building with OpenTrade 🧵

1/ $324 billion in stablecoin transactions across LATAM in 2025. Up 89% year-on-year.
Traditional remittance services charge up to 10% per transfer and take days to settle. Stablecoins cut that cost by up to 90% and settle in seconds
In 2009, Bitcoin gave the world a way to pay over the internet without intermediaries.
What people quickly realized was that the blockchain underpinning it could be used to move things other than currency.
From colored coins to ICOs to private bank consortiums that never got the network effects, to stablecoins becoming the killer application of tokenization, to @BlackRock and @FranklnTempletn issuing on public blockchains today. Two versions of where this goes next are now competing in real time, and only one of them actually rewires market structure.
