Honestly, could not be more bullish for $ASTS. Thanks for leading the charge @shortmsger !!🚀🚀 🛰️ 🛰️
Hey $ASTS!
Verizon appears to be shakin' in its shoes.
But they did have time to comment - among other things the CEO said:
"...I also operate under the assumption that everything SpaceX says they will do, they will do, and that they will execute flawlessly. That's...
What is known about the July 2026 procurement of 36 sats for $1.75B? $ASTS
To be clear (sorry if I missed it in the thread) is your conclusion that $ASTS currently has booked 10 falcon 9 launches PLUS up to ten falcon 9 launches from Amazon = up to total 20 booked falcon 9 launches?
🚨🚨Falcon Spotting - $ASTS Launch🚨🚨
The theory: $ASTS did a deal or swap to take $AMZN's 10 F9 launches (or a subset thereof, or had those slots released to it, or some variation of this), and potentially (this part I care less about) did some sort of swap on New Glenn capacity to give Amazon nearer term availability (massive scale) on NG as its scales Vulcan and NG as its two primary launchers
The amount of DM activity I have received from people hyperventilating (for good reason) about launch availability has had me pinned to my screen for longer than I can remember. If you stare at something long enough, sometimes you can see a pattern...especially when you pester other people to help provide more clues
A US consortium, maybe. You think CFIUS allows non US owners of ASTS?
Owning spectrum without owning the customer experience is just another pipe. The real battle is about who controls the entire connectivity ecosystem.
That’s why I believe it’s only a matter of time before MNOs form a global consortium and make a play for AST SpaceMobile. Its strategic value to the industry are worth far more than its chances of AST succeeding on its own.
Owning the satellite network and spectrum is the next logical step toward controlling the customer experience.

Have you considered referring said newsletter to FBI for racketeering charge. Guess it depends on how explicit the threats may have been. Grok says the following may satisfy the rico elements: “ A pattern of approaching companies with a subscription, advertising, or “reputation management” offer, followed by negative articles only against those who refuse.”
So, a thought experiment on Sovereignty and Valuation ($ASTS and $PLTR): imho $PLTR is back close to ATH because the market is starting to properly understand how important it is for both governments and corporations to retain sovereignty over their data and intelligence. That is, if you are directly feeding sensitive gov or corporate data directly to OpenAI or Anthropic, etc., you are basically authorizing your processes and know how to get stolen/absorbed. Palantir is the critical and necessary layer that allows you to put your data through open or closed llms without giving away your orgs special sauce. $PLTR trades at ~$500B market cap on ~ $7B revenue = 70x 2026 revenue.
$ASTS enables governments and MNOs to retain sovereignty over their data and customers. Once material revenue starts to be realized and the constellation gets to 45-60 ( on its way to many hundred of sats) perhaps the $PLTR multiple becomes a proxy for what $ASTS can achieve? Given the $ASTS sat functions beyond mere comms and the possibility of an unassailable spectrum moat, perhaps an even more aggressive multiple on rev will manifest?
In @CatSE___ApeX___ We Trust.
Basically activity at the Falcon 9 pad where $ASTS typically launches from has slowed to a crawl since Aug. 25. Whereas before that date, there were launches every 5 to 8 days. Safe to assume that the NASA crewed launch from that pad NET Oct. 1, has slowed things down a little.
From Grok: The most recent Falcon 9 carrying AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) BlueBird satellites launched from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. That mission (BlueBird 11–13) lifted off on August 5, 2026.1
The 10 most recent launches from SLC-40 (as of September 23, 2026) are:
•September 13, 2026 — O3b mPOWER 11, 12 & 13
•August 25, 2026 — Starlink Group 10-49
•August 21, 2026 — Starlink Group 10-39
•August 16, 2026 — Globalstar-2R (8 satellites)
•August 11, 2026 — Starlink Group 10-19
•August 5, 2026 — BlueBird 11–13 (AST SpaceMobile)
•July 30, 2026 — NROL-95
•July 21, 2026 — MRV-1
•July 14, 2026 — Starlink Group 10-45
•July 9, 2026 — Starlink Group 10-4270
No additional launches from this pad occurred between September 13 and September 23. The next planned SLC-40 mission is Crew-13 in early October.

Hey @CatSE___ApeX___ what is the probability that Bb11 is just a .gov replacement for BB7 and they just cannot talk about it?
Replying to @LeoSat248
I think that $ASTS block2 satellites are very complex and needs on orbit tuning and testing and I believe that none is perfect just yet. They’re software defined and being perfected. They test and tune iteratively.
So something is sub perfect with every single satellite launched.
But the risk of veing wrong as in ”of no commercial or government use” I’d say sub 5% risk.
It’s in bar configuration. It’s very low drag and stable. So ADACS, including reaction wheels is working, TT&C is obviously working as SupGPs are produced so it looks perfectly nominal.
Company would be obliged to file to SEC within 4 days if something is that level of ”wrong”
Spoiler: They haven’t. Instead they filed with fcc saying all is well with the satellites.
Mayhaps the Japanese will end up procuring such satellites from $ASTS or the J-LEO joint venture?
JAPAN TURNS TO AI SATELLITES FOR FASTER DEFENSE RESPONSE
Japan plans to develop AI-powered satellites to speed up military counterstrike decisions, Nikkei reports.
The Defense Ministry will work with Japanese companies to build test satellites between fiscal 2027 and 2029.
Launches are planned for fiscal 2030 or later to test their capabilities in space.
Optimus solves this, correct? @elonmusk
That was the argument back in the day when half wits did not understand that the globalstar fibre overcapacity would soon get sopped up.

For reference my Apple-Globalstar messaging worked fine, only a short wait (<1 min) for satellite availability. Would it be nice to send a photo from the top, sure. But no need for high bandwidth download speeds
