Personal note related to #Terps football news today: When I got laid off from @postsports, Michael Locksley was among the first to reach out offering support. It was so uplifting during a really crappy time for me professionally. I'll always be grateful for that kindness.

What makes this an even bigger deal: The Atlanta Hawks and Dream have different owners. The NBA, WNBA, TV partners and involved teams all had to coordinate to make this happen.

Colleges Wouldn’t Email Him Back. Now NFL Teams Can’t Wait to Draft Him.

As a senior in high school, Drew Mestemaker rode the bench and begged colleges to give him a chance. These days, he’s charting a path to the first round of the draft.
