While I agree forgiveness is important, I think we not to learn how to stop equating not forgiving someone as holding a grudge as the two are not mutually exclusive.

And I can think your personal choice is counterproductive and stupid. Holding grudges doesn’t undo abuse, bigotry, or bullying and in fact just disincentivizes people from changing for the better. Forgiveness is not just a moral imperative, it is simply a practical strategy.
