Received my official conferral today as Dr Bal Kama, PhD.🎓An incredible feeling. My village folks gave me the title ‘Dr’ at this traditional ceremony a few years ago. Glad I can finally honour it! Thank you @ANU_Law—grateful to be part of this prestigious institution.

"The Iran-US-Israel conflict exposes important realities about modern warfare, alliance politics and the risks that accompany security partnerships," says Bal Kama. "Australia ... has maintained strategic silence on the legality of the conflict."

🚨 MUST WATCH:
Israeli forces bulldoze a Palestinian school — while students are still inside the building.
This isn’t a scene from history — it’s happening now.
Where’s the outrage?

It wasn’t a ‘mishap’. It was a deliberate ‘double strike’ mass killing of hospital workers, journalists, and other civilians.
Israel deeply regrets the tragic mishap that occurred today at the Nasser Hospital in Gaza.
Israel values the work of journalists, medical staff, and all civilians. The military authorities are conducting a thorough investigation.
Our war is with Hamas terrorists. Our just goals are defeating Hamas and bringing our hostages home.

The bravery and dedication are astonishing and courageous.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry announces Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel will prepare an official tour of Pacific Island states, including PNG, Fiji, Nauru, Palau, Tuvalu and Tonga that support Israel and the United States at the United Nations. THREAD

As part of the Government of Israel’s policy to strengthen and expand relations with the Pacific region, the Minister of Foreign Affairs,@gidonsaar , has instructed Deputy Foreign Minister, Member of Knesset @SharrenHaskel , to prepare for an official visit to Pacific Island states. Deputy Foreign Minister Haskel will lead the delegation to engage in discussions aimed at deepening and advancing Israel–Pacific relations in a wide range of bilateral, multilateral, and strategic fields.
The Pacific Island states constitute an important focus of support for Israel across various international frameworks. This support is expressed bilaterally—most notably through the establishment of official embassies in Jerusalem, Israel’s capital, as exemplified by Papua New Guinea in 2023 and as additional states intend to pursue in the near future—as well as multilaterally, including through significant backing of Israel within the United Nations.
Furthermore the Pacific region has been one of Israel's strategic development partners, through numerous projects and training programs lead by MASHAV, Israel's International Development Agency.
This forthcoming visit, and the broader diplomatic effort accompanying it, reflects Israel’s profound appreciation for the Pacific Island states and underscores Israel’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with them. Israel seeks to broaden these partnerships into new, substantial areas while identifying additional strategic and bilateral interests that will serve to further advance the mutual interests of all parties.

⚡️🇺🇸🇮🇱JUST IN: U.S. contractor and former Green Beret Anthony Agular, who worked for the U.S.-Israeli-backed GHF, speaks out, sharing the story of a Palestinian child named Amir who went to get aid but was killed, prompting Agular to break his silence:
“On May 28, at secure distribution site #2, this young boy, Amir, walks over to me, reaches out & kisses my hand. This boy is not wearing shoes. His clothes are falling off of him because he is so skinny….He doesn’t have a box, he has half a bag of rice , lentils, and he was thanking us.
He walked 12 kilometers to get there … & when he got there he thanked us for the crumbs he got … & he set them on the ground & his frail, skeletal, emaciated hands, and he kissed me and said 'thank you.'
And then he collected his items, walked back to the group, and then he was shot at with pepper spray, and tear gas, and stunt grenades, and bullets, and he was shot at, at his feet and in the air, and he runs away...and the IDF were shooting at the crowd … they are shooting … and they are shooting into this crowd & Palestinians, civilians, human beings, are dropping to the ground, and Amir was one of them... Amir walked 12 kilometers to get food, got nothing but scraps, thanked us for it, and died.”

When lsraeI bombed the first hospital in Gaza, the world wouldn’t believe it and Israel blamed a misfired rocket from Hamas.

U.S. Sanctions hit ICC Chief Prosecutor: Email Blocked, Bank Accounts Frozen, 900 Staff Banned from U.S. Entry
International Criminal Court (ICC) Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan was placed under U.S. sanctions by the Trump administration in February 2025, as part of an effort to coerce the court into halting investigations of Israeli abuses in Gaza.
His official Microsoft email account has been disabled, and his UK bank accounts frozen. Additionally, all 900 ICC staff members have been banned from entering the United States, accused of pursuing “illegitimate” investigations into alleged war crimes committed by Israel.
The U.S. government has threatened that any individual or organisation providing Khan with financial, material, or technological assistance could face fines or imprisonment.
Two U.S. based human rights organisations have confirmed they’ve ended cooperation with the ICC. One senior official noted that staff are now actively avoiding communication with court officials, citing fear of government retaliation.
GUEST SPEAKER: Honoured to be invited by the Chief Justice of PNG for this occasion. Recent speakers included Australian Chief Justices Mortimer and Kiefel, so a privileged opportunity. More importantly, a fitting occasion on the eve of the 50th PNG Independence Anniversary.

I'm genuinely shocked that you did that and saw fit to boast about it. This was a tribal gathering as @RealScottRitter points out and anyone who knows Yemeni society could and should have told you so. For all you know these tribesmen sitting in a neat circle may not even have been "Houthis". Their sons are now...
