Wanna hear a Sunday morning testimony?
For decades, I followed a pattern. I would claim there was no God, I would make fun of believers. But then, when things got bad, like me being hospitalized and thinking I was dying, I would pray something like "if you really do exist......"
As hypocritical as I could be. Then, after the danger passed, I would be right back to being "atheist" and mocking God and his followers...
Over.... and over... and over.....
Hundreds of ER visits. Dozens of hospital stays. Thousands of Xanax for the crippling anxiety. The same... exact.... story. Mock, beg, mock, beg....
They say there are no atheists in fox holes. I understand that better than anyone.
In February of this year, I finally hit bottom. Completely lost in the dark. Unable to see the light around me in any way.
March 1st I went to Christ. March 1st I hit my knees and begged for forgiveness. I asked nothing. I prayed for nothing. I just wanted him to know that I wanted to be in his grace and out the darkness. I just wanted whatever it was that he was offering and I was so desperately missing.
I didn't ask for healing. I didn't beg for the "if you are real, show me".... I simply said, "I believe"
March 1st, the anxiety left. The panic attacks left. The Xanax left. The fear left. The hurt left. The suffering left. The doubt left. The pain left. The depression left.
It all left in an instant. Gone. Done.
For 20 years, I mockingly begged God to heal me without actually coming to God. I expected him to dance for me without me being his. I demanded proof by healing before I had an ounce of faith myself.
Such a fool.
When I finally broke, I went to him asking for nothing. I was at the end of the road. I just wanted him to know that I was sorry for my choices and my sin. I just wanted him to know that I saw him working in the world and I didn't want to spend another day against him.
No tricks. No begging. No using him for magical healing. Just me submitting.
And then he healed me. He healed me before I even stood up from the prayer.
Decades of suffering.... impossible to heal..... and he healed it in an instant.
I dunno how to justify what all has happened to me before or since March 1st. But I know what happened ON March 1st. 100%.
On March 1st, I met the living God one on one. I didn't see him. I didn't hear him. But what he took off of me in an instant was a gift no one else could have given.
I can't bring anyone to God. I can't change hearts and minds.
But I can tell you to go search this profile. Type in "Jesus" and see how horrible I was before March. Go type in "God" and see how awful I was. It's all there. I deleted nothing.
Go see. And then ask yourself if God can change my heart and my mind, what could he do for you if you simply let go of the pride and listen.
Today is the Lord's day. Today is a chance for salvation and a new start. Today is a day you can go to God as imperfect and absolutely broken as you are and find him in the room. Today is the day you can stop mocking him and start being covered by his Grace. Today is a day where everything can change.
Today can be your March 1st.
You only gotta take one step. He'll meet you the rest of the way. Trust me... I know.
Love this testimony!!

Man. I suffered severe anxiety my entire adult life. I'm talking hundreds of ER visits, tachycardia diagnosis, the works. Debilitating.
I took Canax nearly daily at times. Carried a bottle of them everywhere I went, just in case.
My last prescription was Feb 14h.
When I was saved March 1st, all of that left. All of it. Not a single attack since. No worry. No heart besting out of my chest. No feelings of doom. No imminent death worries.... It all left.... immediately....
About a month ago, I poured 30 Xanax down the sink drain. My entire las prescription.... done. Gone.
I don't need them.
Christ told us to give him our burdens for his yoke was light. He meant every word of that literally. I couldn't beat it for decades. He took it in an instant. Period.
Matthew 11:28-30
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Give it to God, brother. Leave it as his feet. Watch him work his miracle.

Imagine a man who believed in you so much that as they put nails through his hands and feet, he begged the creator to forgive them, "for they know not what they do"
That man suffered immensely for you. The night before, he sweat blood. The following day, they beat him with spiked whips and chains until he had hundreds of wounds.... then they layed him on a cross and nailed him to it while they mocked him....
And the entire time, he was praying for their salvation. He was dying for yours and mine. He replaced a debt we could never pay with his own blood.
Imagine if that was just a man. You'd call him a hero..... You'd hang ribbons on his gravestone and build statues in his honor....
But he wasn't just a man. 3 days later he rose from the dead and scattered his followers to all corners of the world to spread the good news.
Christ is King..... and he is waiting for you with open arms to join his kingdom.
Congratulations @AuburnMGolf

Fernando Mendoza stayed home with his mom to celebrate being selected first overall in the NFL Draft instead of attending the in-person celebration
She has multiple sclerosis, causing her to be in a wheelchair.
This is what matters. Not trophiesโfamily.

The Bible does not record any words spoken by Mary at the foot of Christโs cross- and yet because of scripture we know she was there. A motherโs love knows no boundaries. The Virgin Mary bravely gave us a Savior and lost a son. Her love was undying, just as Christ loves us. โ๏ธ

Man, itโs crazy how everyone who makes fun of @RealCandaceO keeps having to face the reality that sheโs right.
