Have to break the Hopeium addiction. 1/2 of what’s promised is never delivered.

Everyone gets to the point where they finally realise they’ve been drip-fed hopium features and mechanics built on a foundation of sand, while dishing out and doubling down for far too long. Hopefully you’re not too deep in the abyss when you inevitably seek air and look up.

Dear @UplandMe. can you take a break for rolling out all the new revenue based features and fix the 3 year old problem of getting the “Oooppps”message every other time you try to move an asset from factory to showroom using Chrome. It’s been too long and is beyond aggravating.

Here’s the response today from @UplandMe support. Since they are actively working on it (for years), must be a tough issue: Hi there, The team is aware of such kind of the issue and is actively working on it. While we’re not able to provide an exact ETA for the fix, please rest assured that we’ll do our best to help speed up the resolution. We appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime.

Dear @UplandMe, It just doesn’t seem right that @UPXpodcast will not be part of GWeek broadcast this year. @2stupid2win and @TML_Upland have been promoting your game for 5 years on their podcast. Last year they were Broadcasters Of The Year. Why weren’t they included this year?

Ah yes, nothing brings a community together like mocking the people trying to tell you they’re hurt or frustrated. Labeling passionate players as “Soft Quitters” because they dared to voice concern—then return, hoping things might change—isn’t a personality profile.
