INTENTIONALITÉ enpotan lè nap kolabore!

Our model is radically different. We are moving beyond traditional philanthropy to something more powerful: agency. We will measure success by the transformations we spark: - New Jobs created in Haiti. - Innovative projects making a positive impact because they were born out of unprecedented collaborations. - Breakthroughs in multiple areas: from education, health, community services, to access to energy and food. - Digital talents from Haiti accessing global jobs at scale. - New solutions developed — driving economic opportunities and transparency while empowering a new generation of leaders. - And traditional sectors competitiveness boosted by the power of innovation, lifting Haiti’s GDP and creating shared prosperity. Dear friends, family and supporters, My birthday is coming up on August 1st and, this year, I am dedicating it to the cause closest to my heart right now: the @BanjFoundation: Read more about it here: banjfoundation.org Instead of birthday gifts, I am inviting my community to help us accelerate this new tool designed to tackle the systemic barriers holding back innovation and entrepreneurship in Haiti to help build the foundations of a modern, prosperous, and globally connected Haitian economy. Can you help me achieve at least 1000 donations by my birthday? Please donate and share this campaign with your network. You can search the “MAB’s birthday gift for Banj Foundation” fundraiser and add it to your profile on IG or share it on your stories. You can create your own IG/Facebook posts/stories using content that shows our connection and/or Banj’s impact in Haiti and connect a fundraiser to it for the benefit of the Banj Foundation. If you are not in a country that supports Meta Fundraising tools, you can use this link in my IG bio banjfoundation.org/donate to donate and to invite your community to share and support too! Thank you for your trust and belief in this mission. We go big or we go home together this year!

J’avais 32 ans. On n’oubliera jamais. ❤️

New Headshot by @woodley_lozamma 🙏🏾 @banjHT & @BanjFoundation

I’m honored to be featured in the Business section of Issue 31 of Cacique, the official magazine of @interCaribbean_ ✈️ The article, “Cultivating Talent,” written by my dear friend @riannapatterson shares the journey behind building @banjHT and the lessons I’ve learned over the past decade helping entrepreneurs, innovators, and creators thrive in one of the world’s most challenging environments. A few of the ideas I can’t wait for you to unpack: 🚀 Why talent exists everywhere, but ecosystems don’t: Building successful entrepreneurs requires more than individual brilliance; it takes intentional communities, partnerships, and support systems. 🤝 How collaboration can be a social business’ greatest competitive advantage: Banj’s story isn’t about one organization, it’s about what becomes possible when institutions, entrepreneurs, donors, governments, and the diaspora work together. 🌍 What resilience has taught us: From political crises to the pandemic, we’ve had to continuously reinvent ourselves. Those experiences shaped how we think about innovation in fragile contexts. 💡 The future of Haiti’s innovation ecosystem: I shared why I’m optimistic about the next decade and what we are planting with the @BanjFoundation to unlocking even greater opportunities for Haitian entrepreneurs. 📈 For every entrepreneurs, I shared three principles that have guided my journey: • Solve real and hard problems. • Start small, but move fast. • Build community before chasing scale. If you’re flying with interCaribbean Airways in the coming weeks, grab a copy of Cacique Magazine and please let me know what resonated with you most. Thank you Rianna and to the editorial team of Cacique for the opportunity to tell Banj’s story. Every chance we get to showcase Haiti on regional stages is a chance to change the narrative about a very special place that the world doesn’t see enough and that I am so proud to call home! #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #Leadership #Haiti #Banj #Caribbean #EcosystemBuilding #Community #StartupEcosystem #SocialImpact
