I assume that a Michigan credit union buying a community bank in Florida is just an expansion of serving “modest means customers with a common bond” Whats the common bond, serving wealthy Floridians? #SomethingsWrong ! One day Congress will wake up and wonder where all the tax revenues went, where all the mortgage approvals went, why small business loans stopped being made. Why not ask for hearings on if credit unions have left their mission, which i would argue they have.
