($TSLA and $SPCX) Any deal would need approval from the committee, the board, and its controlling shareholder. The filing follows Musk’s Tuesday comment that a merger would be "a good idea." He confirmed both companies had formed special committees to discuss a union. However, Musk said he cannot take part in the committee discussions.
