It is my considerate opinion that mathematics worldwide needs @pwr2dppl to teach us how to behave humanely to each other. Just because we've seen something done again and again, it doesn't mean it's right.

Ships from Italy and Spain escorting the Sumud Flotilla to deliver aid to people Israel is starving in Gaza cut and ran just when the flotilla actually needed their protection against Israel’s bloodthirsty aggression. Breathtaking cowardice and betrayal.

No Turkish frigate, no Italian warship, no Spanish warship, no Turkish drone - nothing. Everyone retreated once Israel approached. Now we are all watching “what will Israel do to these people ?” This is beyond disgusting.

The masks are off. The Italian frigate was not summoned to offer protection for the Global Sumud Flotila but, rather, to sabotage it on behalf of the genocidal Netanyahu gvt. Shameless Meloni

My wife and two children have been killed by Israeli occupation forces, and you didn’t condemn it or send me your condolences!
France strongly condemns the terrorist attack that has just occurred in East Jerusalem. I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the entire Israeli people. The spiral of violence must come to an end. Only a political solution will bring back peace and stability for all in the region.

Italy’s neo fascist government has clarified that they will grant PM Netanyahu immunity from his #ICC arrest warrant. Italy’s Meloni is also protecting hundreds of IDF war criminals vacationing in Italy from their genocide of civilians in Gaza.

I sometimes think Europeans don't really know what the word "unacceptable" means. Because they keep accepting things they say are unacceptable. Like this, for example, about which you can be certain they'll do fuck-all.
Today's Israeli strikes on Qatar are unacceptable, whatever the reason. I express my solidarity with Qatar and its Emir, Sheikh Tamim Al Thani. Under no circumstances should the war spread throughout the region.

I'm old enough to remember when @dwnews laid off many of its Arab employees/ journalists for social media posts that criticized Israel. Back then, DW News brought in an Israeli propaganda mouthpiece to interrogate its own Arab staff in closed rooms.

Fun fact: the speed in "blitzrechnen" depends on whether a kid's native language is the instruction language. I learned this when my kids did third grade in Germany. 1/
Replying to @littmath
I have pretty vivid memories of being told I was not ready for “enriched” math because of slow performance on timed tests in elementary school. Gating progression behind incredibly boring tasks is not a good way to proceed IMO.

Italy doesn't care about speed, which is why I can't translate blitzrechnen. If you wonder, yes it's the same blitz (lightning) of Blitzkrieg. 2/

I am very very happy that in Italy all kids are taught the same for the first 8 grades: afterwards they freely choose a school type and all those in the same type also learn the same, or at least have the same books. /End
