🚨 @ffpolo: "Barcelona’s defensive vulnerability was exposed AGAIN in El Clásico. Madrid’s 2-1 winner came from exactly the type of move Barça have struggled with repeatedly: one vertical pass breaking the press, a run into the space behind the defence and Mbappé arriving unmarked. It has now become a clear pattern against elite opposition."

🚨 Real Madrid have moved back ahead of Barcelona in the all-time official Clásico win count. - Real Madrid: 107 wins - Barcelona: 106 wins - Draws: 52

🚨 5 things we learned from Barcelona's 1-2 defeat vs. Real Madrid: 1️⃣ Mistakes cost Barcelona again. Two avoidable defensive mistakes proved costly. Gerard Martín's poor clearance led to the opener, while Gabriel Jesus losing possession and Cubarsí being beaten on the counterattack allowed Mbappé to score the winner. These errors cannot keep happening in big games... It cannot happen at this level. 2️⃣ Barcelona need a new centre-back. The lack of defensive depth is becoming increasingly evident. Barça have only 3 centre-backs: Cubarsi, Gerard Martin and Christensen... Gerard Martín struggled at crucial moments, while injuries have left Flick with limited alternatives. Deco must prioritise signing a reliable centre-back in January. 3️⃣ When things go wrong, Raphinha ALWAYS appears. Once again, the Brazilian stepped up when Barcelona needed him most... It's ALWAYS Raphinha. His equaliser brought the team back into the game, and his leadership, intensity and determination continue to make him one of Flick's most important players. 4️⃣ Alejandro Balde was solid and could have more minutes. Despite barely featuring this season, Balde delivered a solid performance after replacing the injured Xavi Espart... He deserves more opportunities this season, with the injuries of Espart, Eric and Koundé. 5️⃣ Titles are won next year, NOT in October. Losing El Clásico hurts, but Barcelona remain top of La Liga. The season is long, and there's still everything to play for. Flick's team must learn from these defeats, recover their confidence and come back stronger. Nothing is decided in October.

🚨 Frenkie de Jong has played for Barcelona again after 155 DAYS. He made his first Barça appearance in more than five months after recovering from a knee ligament injury.

🚨 How Barcelona started and how they ended the match vs Real Madrid:

What a terrible week.
