I will never forget the time that a call came through from Quincy Jones’ office to say that Q really enjoyed the first two Heatwave albums that I had produced… and who is this guy Rod Temperton who wrote ‘Boogie Nights’ and ‘Always and Forever’ …? R.I.P. Genius

Great memories …have a pleasant and peaceful retirement Johnnie

Sad to hear of the death of Martin Lee from Brotherhood of Man - I wrote their huge European hit ‘Kiss Me Kiss You Baby’ which was the precursor to their Eurovision smash ‘Save Your Kisses for Me’ A good friend in the ‘70’s Sending my love to Sandra and all Martin’s family

I spent some time with Michael and the Jacksons when asked to produce the ‘Destiny’ album…little did I know we would be signing a deal together years later….

Looking forward to the closing ceremony tonight -France you should be proud as you have given the world a wonderful Olympics
