Guilford officials have “removed” an early voting site from A&T’s campus after every presidential election.
It’s never had one during the midterms — not even when Democrats controlled the Guilford board.
Why march now? Students asked for a site and the GOP-led board denied it.
Students from North Carolina A&T can be seen marching back to their HBCU after voting on the first day of early voting in the state.

I find Wake County Schools communications department very interesting. They only comment on the negative things that the public will find out about. If it weren’t for ecourts and the Wake arrests website, we wouldn’t hear anything about this.

I’d argue there are instances where the legal system doesn’t get the verdict right and your argument may apply.
In this situation, she was unequivocally guilty to the point she kept a piece of the victim’s skull. She also had two co-conspirators: one served four years and the other is serving life. She also was convicted of strangling an inmate with a shoelace.
Earth has no place for people like her.

The “terrible” students like this one can often benefit from discipline the most, but instead they get soft bigotry of low expectations simply because discipline has a bad rep. Allowing “terrible” students to reign tells them that no one expects them to be capable of following the rules, so no one is even going to bother trying.

NEW: We visited PS 307, the failing public school that Nikole Hannah-Jones sent her daughter to.
The teachers make an average of over $100,000 a year. The school spends $52,000 per student each year. The student/teacher ratio is 9 to 1.
We went to another school just down the street that spends less than half of what PS 307 does—yet the academic outcomes are significantly better.
