Arizona State is currently expected to make a QB change and start Mikey Keene against Kansas State on Saturday, sources tell @CBSSports.
Cutter Boley has started ASU’s first six games. Keene, who previously played at UCF, Fresno St. and Michigan, has 8,533 career passing yards.
There was something enjoyable about watching National Signing Day and knowing that over the next 4 years you’d watch those Penn State players grow and develop.
The NIL / portal era somewhat killed that but hopefully there will be more stability soon
The challenge with all of the Iowa State transfers is they played their best ball before they came to Penn State (excluding Sowell).
So the fanbase doesn’t have these warm and fuzzy memories we just don’t care if the player struggles. If they’re ineffective bench them
A 5th year starting QB in the Big Ten shouldn’t get unlimited turnovers, batted balls, missed throws, etc because he’s a great leader or he’s kept us in games.
It’s insanity to keep trotting him out. Even more insane to not say we’re giving Manske an uptick in 1st team reps
Picture this it’s 5:15pm on Halloween.
Kooper Ebel has missed his 8th tackle of the game. Purdue is up 13-0 in the 2nd quarter and they have 200 yards rushing.
Offense is stalled out and Penn State decides to give Rocco another series.

It’s malpractice if Manske is the “future” but he doesn’t get a real shot to play until next season.
They have to add QB(s) in the portal this offseason. Difficult to sell if 7 is the guy
Too much uncertainty going into 2027 if we don’t see 7 get meaningful snaps this year imo
A month and a half ago we were here with Manske.
So was this all bs? Did he just fall off a cliff in practice?
Not ideal situation
Penn State OC Taylor Mouser dropped a doozy on the media Monday when asked about pleasant surprises during camp.
Does he REALLY plan to play backup QB Alex Manske after a strong camp?

There are at least 20 fan accounts on this app that post more engaging daily Penn State content than @HappyValleyUtd
Can we please lock in? I’m sick of the sunshine and rainbows.
Go fundraise and find ways to engage with 25-55 year olds in a meaningful way on social media. FFS
Can we get adults with experience fundraising to run HVU?
Appreciate that interns get to contribute but the adults in the room need to sack up and engage with the fan base in a meaningful way. My goodness
Can HVU lock in please? The shit they’re posting on IG is a pretty good reflection of the Penn State NIL situation.
Such an unserious org
