Baghdad pushed its budget back again, to November 15. That is the document that has to carry the IQD rate.
We don't think that's a coincidence. In our view, Iraq is delaying the budget until the regulated system a historic currency revaluation and conversion would run through is finished, and Washington is setting that timing. Monday's charter is one more piece in place.

BREAKING: Wood sent for lab testing from Noah’s Ark Durupinar Site.
We’re excited to finally share this official update from the lead archeological professor Dr. Cenker Atila:
Multiple pieces of wood have been recovered from the Noah’s Ark Durupinar Site and are now in the lab for carbon-14 dating.
The wood is damaged and charred. This could be from an attempt to set fire to the ark at some point in history, or from volcanic activity in the area long ago.
While the depth at which it was recovered indicates it is very old, Dr. Cenker is clear: this is not proof that it is Noah’s Ark until the carbon-14 results are in.
One interesting note: charred wood decomposes far more slowly than uncharred wood, especially when buried in soil.
Wood has officially entered the conversation.

DOJ says Brinksman worked as a CIA contractor.
“As alleged, Brinksman reached far outside his own duties to obtain some of our Nation’s most closely held secrets and handed them to a romantic partner he knew intended to publish them,” said DOJ national security chief John Eisenberg.
Brinksman is charged under the Espionage Act. The allegations have not been proven.

She doxxed an ICE officer on Facebook and told people to "blast HER." Then investigators looked at her phone.
Arely Guzman was a real estate agent in Albertville, Alabama, and one of the loudest anti-ICE voices in town.
Her phone showed she was helping move illegal aliens, including Chinese nationals, and handling cash for a smuggling ring run by an inmate in an Oklahoma prison.
She pleaded guilty in federal court this summer.
This week a Texas jury convicted three more members of that same ring. Prosecutors say it made over $5 million.
Their enforcer shot a man, tried to dissolve his body in acid, set it on fire, filmed it, and sent the video to the boss.
That's the operation this "activist" was part of while she was out there trying to sic a mob on an ICE employee.
Next time a Democrat tells you that unmasking ICE agents is about "accountability," remember her name.
Sometimes the person screaming loudest about ICE has the most to hide.
