Congratulations to all my colleagues on the resounding victories last night! it is heartening to see such a thorough rebuke of the GOP and their cruelty, incompetence and corruption across the country. The Democrats were absolutely dominant in Connecticut and across the country.
Now the hard work begins. The Democratic Party should not take this victory lightly, and needs to use this opportunity to deliver for working people, root out corruption from the government, and enact bold policies that will ensure prosperity for all!

Joe Serra was my predecessor in the State House, where he served for 28 years. He was well known throughout town and at the Capitol for his love of Middletown, his sense of humor, and the stories he would tell.
Upon being elected, I noticed that not a single person at the Capitol had anything bad to say about Joe. This is truly rare and remarkable for someone being involved in politics for so long, and it is a testament to his character.
Any pundit that predicted blue Texas or Florida being in play must be thoroughly laughed off the stage. Please stop listening to these people who have been wrong about everything for a decade

I just received notification from the @WhiteHouse that @POTUS Biden has approved my request to declare an emergency declaration for CT in response to the historic rainfall our state received this week.
There's still much work to do to recover and this support is appreciated.
