FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 3, 2026 AUSTIN, TX – We have received reports that multiple counties have reported voters being sent away after checking in due to equipment malfunctions. The Texas Secretary of State has been notified, and the RPT and RNC are actively reviewing the situation. Chairwoman D’rinda Randall issued the following statement: "We want every Texas voter to know their rights and ensure that every legally cast ballot is properly secured and counted. If you experience an issue, do not leave the polling location until you have personally deposited your ballot into the scanner or designated emergency ballot bin. Do not surrender your ballot to an election worker. Remain at the polling location and request assistance from the presiding election judge. Every voter deserves confidence that their ballot is protected and properly handled.
