Luther Burden Went down yesterday with a groin (adductor) strain. Groin strains are notoriously tricky injuries. VERY commonly reinjured due to their importance in nearly everything you do for the leg. This tissue also has an awful blood flow, so that plays a role in it as well. Best case scenario as this is a true grade 1 (unlike Josh Downs’ which sounds like a ‘tweak’) and he misses 2-3 weeks. He will likely be ramped up very slowly to prevent reinjury. The good news is that he has about 5 weeks to get 100% healthy. I’m not ready to freak out yet but this does help Rome Odunze and pushes Colston Loveland’s breakout even harder.
