Again EA did not stick a gun to Bioware's head and go "make the writing bad"
Three games where EA fucked over BioWare. Idk why there are EA defenders in 2026.

Bullshit! BioWare were the ones who decided to do that
"BioWare was repeatedly forced to abandon its strengths (narrative choice, consequences, companions) to chase unprofitable live-service and multiplayer trends, wasting significant resources." That one especially pisses me off

Bioware chooses who writes their games. Bioware's writing hasn't been good in a decade plus. Bioware it to blame for Bioware's downfall
EA Owned Bioware and is the Boss of BioWare. EA doesn’t have to “stick a gun to Bioware’s head”. They’ll just lay people off which loses Talent and causes had writing, If you actually did some research on the development cycle of all 3 games you would see EA is the problem.

While they had aired the vignettes hyping up his debut and wrestled a few matches up to this point, this was THE moment where Ted DiBiase became the Million Dollar Man
One of the most talked-about moments from my career in October 1987 🏀 If you don’t get the job done, you don’t get paid!

>Be BioWare >Make Veilguard >Game is set in Tevinter home of blood magic >There is no blood magic/problematic elements >Every villain is a white man/woman >How could this lead to closure?! Come on man
I'm sorry, no. I can't do this. Ralph (Skill Up) did a lot of damage with his review of Dragon Age: The Veilguard (whether he meant to, or not) and I'm still bitter about it.

No. Veilguard (and Anthem and Andromeda) did a lot of damage to Bioware. Honestly, EA gave Bioware a long ass leash. Most companies do not get to release 3 flops in a row before they are closed

I get why people hate EA. I hate EA. But the number of people who are in denial about how much BioWare caused their own demise is hilarious. Not to mention all the people who wish EA never bought BioWare as if EA didn't literally save BioWare.

The only people afraid of AI taking their jobs are people who know what they make is shit.
Super Smash Bros creator Masahiro Sakurai says AI-generated games just copy ideas and systems from existing games He believes AI can't match the "originality" of human creators

I'd rather have AI slop than gay slop
REPORT: EA is "heavily" pushing Generative AI in the development of their games which likely means their future Star Wars games. “Morale has been terrible. The line we kept hearing is 'do less, better' but it felt like we were doing the same amount with less people"

It already is finished. Mass Effect 3 is the ending to it.
Mass Effect has really been important to so many people across the world. It deserves a chance to be finished.

Rogue One is also terrible. The characters are flat and boring. The Vader bit is nonsensical fan service. And the movie doesn't even connect to the opening of Star Wars properly, which was its one job.
rogue one was the only good nu-star wars movie for one reason: it was the right blend of fan service and respect to the original material. no chungus millenials in the writers room jamming their OC into a dog of a script, pure gen X nerds just vibing.

Japan is fucked
🚨 BREAKING NEWS! 🚨 Takaichi's government has officially signed the deal with Bangladesh which will see 100K Bangladeshis move to Japan every year for the next five years. By 2030 Japan there will be 500K Bangladeshis living in Japan which will double the current Muslim population. A complete betrayal
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Bangladesh's government says it plans to send 100,000 workers a year, but a plan is not a Japanese quota. The Oct. 17 bilateral memorandum covers skills and worker protections; its reported terms specify no such quota. bangladesh2japan.probashi.gov.bd en.prothomalo.com/bangladesh/im5…

Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy Book 1. Heir To The Empire Book 2. Dark Force Rising Book 3. The Last Command Author: Timothy Zahn These books should have been adapted by Disney Star Wars to be the sequel trilogy. The books are set 5 years after Return of the Jedi and the New Republic has just started setting up the new government on Coruscant. We get introduced to new characters like Grand Admiral Thrawn, who is a master strategist and tactician. Joruus C’boath, an insane clone of Jedi Master Jorus C’boath. Talon Karrde, leader of the top smuggler’s group and intelligence gatherer. Finally Mara Jade, ex- Emperor’s Hand and future wife of Luke Skywalker. I know these books wouldn’t be a perfect book to screen adaptation but it could have been done pretty well. The timeline of the Clone Wars would have to be changed from the books to fit into the main Star Wars timeline. Plus have Timothy Zahn consult on the scripts and have him on the movie sets so Grand Admiral Thrawn gets portrayed correctly unlike in Disney Star Wars. If you haven’t read this trilogy, I highly recommend that you do!

Don't get it twisted. BioWare could've removed Taash and every single modern-day ideological talking point from Veilguard at the last minute, and the game still would've flopped.

Prequel haters don't understand the films at all. They think the Jedi being flawed, Anakin being awkward, Padme's outfits contradicting her words in the romance story, the Trade Federation avoiding consequences, or Obi-Wan being hypocritically reckless, are writing mistakes.

The Prequels are good films because they tell a cohesive story; that of Anakin’s fall. The pacing the good, the score is fantastic, the visuals are good, and the acting is Shakespearean. The plot, as well, has more substance than the OT. Most hate against it is preferential.
Notably no one can explain why the prequels are good only using what is in the actual movies and not the clone wars cartoon or the false version of the prequels that exists as some grand Shakespearean political tragedy
