Have walked in the shoes of my teams this week finishing with a night shift. As a leader being clinical and in the numbers is a great way to gain real time feedback. Looking forward to our matron assurance meetings to feedback @emmadewey1 @ang08davies @nickedwards_1

This week some of our nurses did a live chat with Navenby school reception class. The children loved seeing the ward and the equipment that we use. It was a brilliant opportunity for the children to see the hospital as a place that will help and take care of them.💙

Take a look at this amazing transformation of the sensory room on the Children's Unit at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. It was completed by Sensory Technology and will be an incredible experience for all children regardless of age! 🧡 @ULHTCYP @BeckyM2016

Laura one of our CYP flu fighter's has been hard at work today vaccinating her colleagues. Great way to increase vaccination uptake by developing peer to peer vaccinations. 100% uptake so far from her patient facing colleagues @KarenDunderdale @nickedwards_1 @hayleyw29075172

How do we balance the needs of critically ill children vs the need to increase adult critical care capacity? An important piece of work from @PICSociety to try and ensure we get it right. #PedsICU #COVID19
#COVID19 requires unprecedented upscaling of adult #ICU capacity throughout the UK & PICUs are preparing to reduce beds to free up space With PICANet we have modeled the minimum UK #PedsICU capacity required during the pandemic- published on our website: picsociety.uk/covid19/
