Royalty came to the STEAM Lab! Our first graders created fantastic medieval castles, which greatly impressed the queen.

Building specialized robots to save people from fires. Hot stuff!
@AGBellSchool
These vintage Lego WeDo kits have been around the block a few times, but students still manage to create new things to share with the class
@AGBellSchool
I always have to remind myself that even though they are very cool, middle schoolers are still very much children, and like to play
@AGBellSchool
Our 4th graders designed, measured, cut and assembled fantastic cardboard houses!
@AGBellSchool
Another successful round of the Monster Project. The 8th graders really hit it out of the park with their designs!
@AGBellSchool
In the latest episode of Chicago Fire, the Kindergartners turned their Dash robots into firefighting machines and sent them off to save people from a fire. It was very exciting!

I totally did not capture the image I was going for. My 2nd graders made rubber band helicopters and released them at the same time. But the audio says it all.
@AGBellSchool
Climbing the ladder is one of the most sought-after experiences in the STEAM lab. 🤣

So thankful for our thoughtful @AGBellSchool parents. Can't think of a better way to get ready for a day of Thanksgiving cooking than with my own mini Dinkel's pumpkin pie.
Our 2nd graders made floats for the Macy's Day Parade! First try at green screen, but definitely won't be the last!
@AGBellSchool
Kindergarteners did a great job making 2d and 3d shapes. And unbelievably they believed that the marshmallows were NOT the eating kind!
@AGBellSchool
Round 3 of the Monster Project. The 8th graders are interviewing their Kindergarten partners to design a perfect monster. My absolute favorite activity ❤️
@AGBellSchool
Whenever I pair older students with younger, I am NEVER disappointed. Even if the older student is way too cool for school they always seem to become kinder & gentler around the little ones. These two both happen to be sweethearts, and slime making is always a hit.
@AGBellSchool
Not everyone is a Lego person. I didn't play with Legos as a child, and the thought of using EV3 kits in our lab gave me pause. But here we go! I'm there for any kids who are also stressed, and we'll get there together. Thank heavens for @BellTechCo who always steps up!
