What a successful #internationalmensday! Our pupils raised over £80 at a bake sale for mental health charities. Our mental health ambassadors delivered assemblies to S1-6 boys and our staff members hosted ‘time to talk’ drop in sessions for our young people.

Community lunch today to celebrate our endeavour award learners, our parents and our staff. Well done to our Pupil Parliament speakers and thanks so much to staff and pupils for setting up and to our Baristars.
COMMUNITY. ASPIRATION. RESPECT. ENDEAVOUR.
Our pupils have been engaging with the core values of Bellshill Academy and have considered what a rewarding future might look like. They have created these wonderful artworks that are displayed across the school. Well done BGE pupils!
YPI presentation to S3 today. For the last 3 years our S3 have led on this charitable initiative where they use £3000 to make a difference to our community. Last we were selected to speak at the national event. I’ve not doubt this year’s S3 will be great too 😎
Assemblies for S1-S4 today. 100% S1 in school uniform and respect shown to our senior sports leaders was excellent. What a brilliant start to S1.

I really enjoyed working with teachers at Bellshill Academy this afternoon. We spent 90 minutes unpacking principles and techniques to help power up our pedagogy. Super discussion 😊
Thank you to our staff and @BruceNextLevel for an inspiring CLPL session yesterday evening. We’re looking forward to engaging further and applying what we have learned.
