The Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl is a community organization first - we “adopted” Alice Vail Middle School to encourage staff and students and use the energy surrounding the bowl game to motivate them. This young student won a pack of tickets for her family to our 2026 game by setting an example of focus and hard work!

Arizona head coach Brent Brennan bought 1,000 tickets for local nonprofits and charities and youth football organizations to attend the Iowa State game.
After the game, Brennan walked into Dirtbag's and bought around 300 shots (a $2,000 tab) for Arizona fans and then walked out.
Amazing stuff. Man of the people.
Attending a college football game for the third Saturday in a row. What is this, 2019? #GoCats
College football fans have been suffering through change fatigue w/ conference expansion, transfer portal, NIL, rev share, etc. for 5+ years now.
How does the sport’s leaders respond? More change that very few want!

My colleague @mark_cooperjr conducted a survey of @TheAthletic readers about the 24-team Playoff.
6,318 responded. 90% say they watch CFB every Saturday.
Can't imagine how thrilled ESPN is to be spending $345M on something this popular.

In case you need another reason to dislike the 24 team CFP model; this nugget from the article:
“Brace yourselves for something. There will be weeknight playoff games. Commissioners have discussed holding first- and second-round games on weeknights as to disperse the inventory”
A three-person negotiating group, weekday playoff games, bowl season’s future, the reason behind expansion and regular season scheduling changes.

Headed back to Tucson after an amazing week visiting East Lansing. It was reassuring to see MSU is treating my daughter well.
