I am beyond blessed to be announcing my commitment to Shorter University to continue my academic and baseball career! First and foremost, I want to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for giving me the opportunity to play at the next level. Without Him, I am nothing. All of my achievements in this life are His and His alone. I pray that I use this opportunity to glorify Him and be a light for His Kingdom. I want to thank my mom and dad for always pushing me to do my best and making constant sacrifices. Thank you to all my coaches who have worked with me, pouring into me both on and off the field. Thank you to Coach Abney and the entire coaching staff for believing in me and giving me this wonderful opportunity. I’m grateful for the opportunity and am thrilled for what God has in store. 2 Corinthians 11:30–31: “If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is to be praised forever, knows that I am not lying.”
