Marquette women's basketball needed a new recruiting coordinator after Khadijah Rushdan's departure.
Cara Consuegra got one in assistant coach Sheila Boykin, who joins #muwbb after three seasons in the same role at South Florida.

At Marquette women's basketball practices, not everyone wears blue and white jerseys. Some people wear black or yellow pinnies.
Meet the #muwbb male practice players, who the Golden Eagles "wouldn't be able to win without."

With seconds remaining, and #mubb trailing Villanova 76-73, Shaka Smart called timeout to draw up a play.
It ended the same way as Marquette's previous times in that position: with points left on the board and a close loss.

#mubb starts its 2025-26 season tonight. What can you expect to see offensively?
“I don’t see a Kam Jones necessarily out there from a scoring standpoint, and that’s good.”

Really great story!! @benhansonMU
Shaka Smart's in-house roster development also extends to his coaching staff.
Two of #mubb's graduate assistants are former walk-ons Jack Anderson and Cam Brown, the first time Smart has given that role to a past player.

Lifelong hockey player Erin Johnson was "crushed" when she saw Marquette had only a men's club hockey team.
She's not the only one, either — 17 students are seeking approval to get back on the ice with a women's club hockey team.

This story was so much fun to write. Had a blast following Harry’s journey!!
Harry Connors began water skiing at 17 years old after watching a Red Bull event in East London.
The sport has taken the 22-year-old British first-year across the pond to Marquette, where he's a member of the club water ski team.

This one was a blast to call!! Crazy 4th quarter. Thanks to @CushCam for the help as always along with his son on the scoreboard!! He’s a prodigy!
3 touchdowns in the final 3 minutes! We needed a 4th TD and didn’t get the ball back, but Monday’s Creekside-AC game was an instant classic. Here are a few highlights from our online broadcast with @noolimitben on the call. @BrentASJax @StuartASJax @SchlickSports
