Finished Leda’s path yesterday. Extremely carried by hype moments and aura but I also like the supporting cast a lot and the maps were fun. Dietrich next

I think Cai’s path was better just because it followed a more defined narrative arc and the character development felt less forced. Leda endgame clears Cai endgame tho

In a way every film this year is Digger. The Invite (a routine meal goes awry) The Odyssey (a man reckons with the ruination of the world he helped do) Coyote vs. Acme (there is no effective recourse against the megacorporations exploiting us) Castration Movie Chapter iii I guess
Honestly noticed some parallels to Digger in the second half of You Can See Everything

elizabeth holmes is not, in any meaningful way, the subject of ycse. she (like billy, and nathan, and [redacted]) is an object in it. the subject of ycse is the relationship between perception, performance, and reality
Sorry but I want to see the Adam Curtis version of the Elizabeth Holmes story, where it opens with the Soviets fighting in Afghanistan. His style is more suited to the subject.

You Can See Everything covers the ethics of filmmaking, cult of personality, radical empathy, post-truth, and the linkage between 2010s corporate feminism and 2020s cutthroat male grifter capitalism. which may not be *that* important but it's still important.
I'm going to bet that this movie is less historically and humanly momentous than "The Human Condition" and "Come and See," Unless it absolutely becomes the statement of the era. Which is unlikely.
