It all started 16 years ago in October 2010. John was scrolling through Reddit a couple months after Atsuko Sato posted her now infamous picture of Kabosu the dog on her blog. There was an image wheel on the side of the Reddit screen for ad space, but when they didn't have ad space to fill, they would put in random pictures of whatever they wanted. One of those pictures was Sato's picture of Kabosu. John then made the Reddit post that changed the future of internet culture forever. Thousands of Doge derivatives including multibillion marketcap coins like Shiba Inu, Floki Inu, and Neiro. All of which found their success with narratives surrounding Doge, but none of which has such a direct connection as OGDoge. Let that sink in for a moment - nothing is in closer proximity to the doge meme than this, nor will anything else EVER be. While that absorbs, let's ask who is John Monarch? - Graduated with degrees in physics and computer science. - Well established entrepreneur with multiple 8-figure startups in technical spaces such as Web3 and Blockchain, AI, and supply chain. - Been in the crypto space, especially Ethereum and Dogecoin circles, for a decade or more. - Influential member of Own The Doge DAO (johnmonarch.com/) (ownthedoge.com/kabosu-doge-h…) While his background shows he is more than qualified to be a project creator, Own The Doge is one of the most important aspects. This is the project and DAO that are currently the custodians who obtained the IP rights to Doge/Kabosu, and is directly endorsed by Atsuko Sato. They are also responsible for the creation of International Doge Day, the first of which happened three years ago on Nov 2nd, 2023, where John Monarch got to meet Atsuko Sato and Kabosu. It's simple & pure brilliance. Solana is a RETAIL CHAIN! The more the digital age moves forward, the more people will have access to, and be pushed into cryptocurrency and digital assets. There is at most 10% of the global population holding crypto currently. What happens when the next big bullrun surges with institutional powers pushing it, and normies are shepherded into space once more? Global crypto usage skyrockets to 25% - 40% of the population. Think of the amount of money that enters this space with that level of adoption. Retail normies connect with what they know, and when it comes to memecoins, the vast majority really only have heard of Dogecoin and maybe Shiba Inu. This is what makes a token with the name and history of OGDoge an easily attractable narrative, and will likely be one of the first memecoins they will ever purchase. When these floodgates open, coins like Doge and OGDoge will be the memecoins they funnel into first when starting their crypto journey. This is a long-term project, for which the structural and community foundation is currently being established. Brand familiarity is essential to attracting people from retail markets. Something they can connect to that is already ingrained in their psyche, that they can easily understand the value of, with a simple narrative they can relate to. Something that has an established community presence of positive people who welcome them, and are a die hard holder base who won't immediately make newcomer's holdings depreciate in value. OGDoge IS that something. The current pullback ensures this will be the case moving forward, with true believers accumulating and preparing for that inevitability. Current supply left in the pool is under 3%, meaning supply shock is very close within reach. The supply control through through the project's tokenomic structure (7.6% burnt, 5% locked for 10 years, 10% for the DAO), and diamond handed holders who see the value this project is destined for, has ensured this will happen in the near future.
