Double Beam Bash- Diplodocus had uniquely "jelly bean" shaped scales on its shoulders, which it may have used in ritualised shoving matches. These thunderous battles probably would have shook the earth beneath them

Fun fact, this is actually a remake of one of my very first renders from just about a year ago. While not perfect, I do hope to have improved since then

Apologies for not posting much new recently. With the beginning of uni, my seasonal work and many a secret projects, there really isn't much time for me to do renders and smaller things to post. Don't worry though, this should change again in november!

Jurassic World Apatosaurus and Dimorphodon redesign sketches. The heads really are the main offenders for these two

Raul Martin's Supersaurus just had that absolute magic of sauropods on full display. It used to hang above my bed, printed out on a giant 1000 piece puzzle my grandma made for me. The composition with the dryosaurs in front too is just simply amazing
Starting this up again! Name a piece of paleoart that had a large impact on you. This piece, by Douglas Henderson, showing a Rutiodon startling some Fadrosaurus, lives rent free in my head. The masterful use of light and dark totally stunned me as a child.

THIS right here doesn't seem like a big deal, but is probably among the root causes for the toxicity and ignorance that is plagueing paleo right now. It is also the reason I use so many cues lifted from old edu games and docus for my own vids, to combat this mindset
These YouTube channels referring to discoveries and published papers as "buffs", "nerfs", and "updates" is exactly why a lot of professional scientists coined the term "The fandomization of paleontology." This sort of language really miscommunicates how science works.
