This was by far the worst scene of Infinity War. Took Hulk 8 years to get his aura back
Iron Man 3 originally had a female main villain, but director Shane Black said Marvel made him change the script because executives believed her action figure wouldn’t sell as well.
The planned twist was that a woman had secretly been running everything. According to Black, the writers had finished the script when they received a memo rejecting the idea over toy-sales concerns. The finished film instead made Guy Pearce’s Aldrich Killian the mastermind.
Black also said Rebecca Hall and Stéphanie Szostak originally had larger roles that were reduced during development. He clarified the decision came from Marvel’s corporate management, not Kevin Feige.
An entire villain reveal changed because someone thought boys wouldn’t buy the toy.
James McAvoy says he starred in X-Men : First Class because he had no money in the bank
“My first child came, and I neither myself nor my wife at the time worked for about six months to a year.
“My first child came, and I neither myself nor my wife at the time worked for about six months to a year. We just stayed at home and looked after him. And I, we weren't like, we weren't penniless. We didn't have any debt, but we had pretty much nothing in the bank…
X-Men came in. I went, "Where's it filming?" They went, "Pinewood, it's 40 minutes from my front door." I was like, "Awesome." And I was also like, "X-Men, great!" I loved the cartoon when I was a kid. That'd be brilliant. I loved the movies that came out in 2000 and Bryan's original movies were brilliant.
But I was like, this is a three-picture deal, they're paying well, it's 40 minutes from my front door, I'm a fan of the original material, I get to be young Jean-Luc Xavier. And I was like, this is a no-brainer.
So my agent called me, she was like, "What do you think?" And I was like, "It's a work of genius, we're doing it!”

Smart Hulk was originally supposed to make his debut during the Battle of Wakanda in Avengers: Infinity War.
Banner and Hulk would finally stop fighting for control, merge inside the Hulkbuster armour and burst out to defeat Cull Obsidian together. The sequence was written and filmed, but the filmmakers realised it gave Banner a triumphant resolution just as the story was heading towards a catastrophic defeat.
Screenwriter Christopher Markus described it as “an up, right when everyone else was down.” The scene was cut late in production, leaving Banner to win the battle himself and moving the completed transformation into the five-year gap before Endgame.
Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man nearly used mechanical web-shooters. Early in production, physical prototypes were built and appeared in footage for the film’s 2001 E3 presentation.
The finished film switched to organic webbing, an idea from James Cameron’s abandoned Spider-Man treatment retained by screenwriter David Koepp. Sam Raimi felt Peter inventing artificial web-shooters while gaining his powers would ask too much of the audience, but the original props still survive.
In another timeline, we would've watched Steve and Tony die side-by-side in Endgame.
Steve by Thanos and Tony by his own hand.
This was the original Green Goblin design created for Spider-Man (2002).
Instead of the rigid military helmet used in the finished film, effects studio Amalgamated Dynamics built a comic-accurate animatronic mask that could move its eyes, eyebrows, cheeks and mouth. Willem Dafoe’s expressions would have controlled the mechanisms beneath it, letting the Goblin’s face snarl and react with him.
The elaborate design was abandoned in favour of the armoured helmet, leaving one of the film’s most impressive practical effects unused.
Rachel McAdams’ reaction here was reportedly completely genuine. A mop handle fell unexpectedly during filming and frightened her, but she stayed in character and Scott Derrickson kept the take in the finished film. McAdams has since admitted that she is “a total scaredy-cat” in real life.
Heimdall was done so dirty man. He spent the entire last movie foraging for survival only to be killed off right at the start of Infinity War. He deserved to be at the end of Endgame.
